This is not a reading of a printed book, but rather a recording of Brene sharing her thoughts on parenting opportunities to nurture whole-hearted families. She talks about shaming, play, perseverance, faith, hard work, boundaries. Her personal life examples are great and illustrate her points well. I really enjoyed it. Wish it was longer, hope Brene will make more material on the subject of parenting!

I'm not sure how she does it, truly. This mini session on the details of Parenting in this crazy news world is another home run. Brene shares and explains all of the beautiful imperfections that could happen while navigating the world of parenting in today's world of fun, fast and easy. Once again, sharing that vulnerability and bravery play a role in this life. Her explanation of each guidepost is easy to understand and comes from a place of empathy and compassion.
A must listen.

I think this is a book that every parent should read. It's only two hours long yet so much insight and advice. She covers a lot of topics that my husband and I have had discussions over raising our children. I will be listening to this again, this time with my husband!
