I’ve heard this quote a lot throughout my life but I didn’t read this book until my husband started teaching it to his students. I made it through this audiobook in one sitting (very rare for me). I loved it from start to finish. It made me cry, it made me think. The whole time I was just shocked it was written by a 16-year-old - even though maybe I shouldn’t be. Highly recommend.

OMG very good book definitely recommend reading. it was both action packed and sad. My attention span is maybe 10 to 20 minutes but I listened so much like two chapters a day once even four. It was sad so if you cry at a book pls don’t read. STAY GOLD

This Book captures the raw intensity of being a teenager. There is truly no match for it! The fact that she wrote it when she was 16 makes it that much richer! If you are going to watch the movie make sure you watch the complete novel, not the original release. Coppola follows this extraordinary book to the letter!
