I loved listening to stories on tape as a kid and using my own imagination! This is exactly that. My kids love listening to this book in the car. They have the book at home and have enjoyed a new way to experience the story. They even act it out in the car. They are 5 and 3 years old. I would say it is easier to experience the Audible version if you read the book first and also see some of the reads on YouTube. Great way to get them off screens as well while in the car.

IF you haven't read a Mo Willems' book then you are seriously missing out. Willems is an amazing children's writer who provides children with funny, captivating stories with characters that draw you into the story. The pigeon books pull children into the story as the characters speak directly to the audience, breaking the fourth wall.My children always ask to read the pigeon books and if you choose this book, your children will be begging you to share them too!
