I really enjoyed hearing from all of the prominent black women from the past. Their speeches are still inspiring today. The narrator though miss pronounced some of their names but maybe that's the way they would say it from where they're from. I recommend this book because one can learn about their past struggles and successes!

Several inspiring speeches by African American women.
I especially enjoyed Mrs. Obama and Shirley Chisholm. I grew up as Mrs. Chisholm was blazing trails. Listening to her story as an adult was uplifting.
