Despite being published in 1851, Moby Dick appears at number 17 in The Guardian’s ‘The 100 best novels written in English’; a testament to its continued popularity. This dramatic adaptation by Audible member favourite Marty Ross stars David Morrissey as Captain Ahab who is determined to get his revenge on the one and only Moby Dick.

"Call me Ishmael." Thus starts the greatest American novel. Melville said himself that he wanted to write "a mighty book about a mighty theme" and so he did. Tommo has been aboard a whaling ship for six grueling months when he decides, with his friend Toby, to escape and hide on a wild island. They are not alone. Herman Melville’s novel The Confidence-Man: His Masquerade (1857) is a comedy of masquerades and a blend of allegory, cultural satire, and metaphysics.
