 Cleary, North Carolina, is a sleepy mountain town, the kind of place where criminal activity is usually limited to parking violations. Not so, lately. From the moment Lilly hits Ben Tiernay with her car while making her way down the mountain from her cabin during a blizzard, the story grabs your interest and never lets go until the surprising conclusion. The reader is wonderful, using different voices for each character and authentic southern accents. Bottom line: If gripping claustrophobia and excruciating suspense could be heard, this is what it would sound like.

Sehr spannend von Anfang bis Ende, da es jeder gewesen sein könnte und sich die Handlung immer wieder in eine andere Richtung bewegt. Das Ende ist vollkommen anders als man eigentlich noch kurz zuvor annimmt. Eine gute Wahl. Gelesen ist es nicht schlecht, aber man braucht einige Zeit um sich daran zu gewöhnen
