    • Agentic AI/AI for Education
  • We invite proposals for three types of tutorials, and we especially encourage submissions from early-career researchers:

    • Cutting-edge to AI research: Tutorials that cover advances in newly emerging areas. The tutorials are expected to briefly introduce the topic, but participants are assumed to have some prior knowledge of it. The class will discuss the most recent developments in the field and point out open research questions and essential novel research directions.
    • Introductory to one of the AI research verticals: Tutorials that provide introductions to topics that are established in the AI communities. The lecturers provide an overview of the development of the field from the beginning until now. Attendees are not expected to come with prior knowledge. They acquire a sufficient understanding of the topic to understand the most recent research in the field.
    • Legal, ethical, governance, and standards of AI: Tutorials that provide introductions to established or emerging topics in areas. The lecturers give an overview of the development in the field from the beginning until now and provide some example implications of AI systems in various domains (such as healthcare, finance, law enforcement, transportation, and manufacturing), as well as highlight future research directions. Attendees are not expected to come with prior knowledge of their problems in their organizations.

Submit Your Content

In addition to submitting your paper to IEEE CAI 2026, you are also encouraged to upload the data related to your paper to IEEE DataPort.  IEEE DataPort is IEEE’s data platform that supports the storage and publishing of datasets while also providing access to thousands of research datasets. Uploading your dataset to IEEE DataPort will strengthen your paper and will support research reproducibility.  Your paper and the dataset can be linked, providing a good opportunity for you to increase the number of citations you receive.  Data can be uploaded to IEEE DataPort prior to submitting your paper or concurrent with the paper submission.  Thank you!
