“KPop Demon Hunters” has broken yet another viewership record.
After becoming Netflix’s most popular movie of all time in late August, the musical fantasy had its 15th straight week on the Netflix Top 10 during the Sept. 22-28 viewing window, becoming the longest-running title ever on the English-language films chart. Previously, that record was held by “Red Notice,” which has charted 14 times total. The new achievement is additionally impressive as “KPop Demon Hunters” achieved its 15 weeks consecutively, whereas “Red Notice” originally charted for 12 weeks in a row before making two appearances later on. Google’s YouTube TV has dropped Univision’s local TV stations — along with other TelevisaUnivision-owned networks — after the two sides failed to come to terms on a contract renewal Tuesday.
If TelevisaUnivision’s programming remains unavailable to YouTube TV subs for an “extended period of time, we’ll offer our Spanish Base subscribers a $6 credit or refund depending on your billing provider,” Google said in a message to the pay-tv service’s customers.
Google separately Tuesday was squaring off with NBCUniversal in contract renewal talks for YouTube TV. NBCU’s current YouTube TV deal also is due to expire Sept.

[Warning: The following post contains spoilers for Murder in a Small Town Season 2 Episode 2, “Blood Wedding.”] As the title of the episode warned, Tuesday’s (September 30) new Murder in a Small Town saw what should’ve been a happy day of nuptials turn into a homicide investigation after the father of the bride was murdered and the mother of the groom (portrayed by guest star Camryn Manheim) became the key suspect due to the decades-long blood feud between the families. As it turned out, it was a third party — the owner of the resort the wedding was actually taking place in — who did the deed in retaliation for a real estate deal-gone-wrong. Whether the couple can fully...

Law & Order vet Camryn Manheim has traded in her badge for a mob-wife aesthetic on Murder in a Small Town — and this time, she’s the one being accused of a heinous crime!
In Thursday’s episode of the Fox procedural, Manheim guest-starred as Jocelyn, the no-nonsense matriarch of a local family with a longstanding vendetta against her son’s future in-laws. Both families collided for the wedding weekend, causing tensions to come to a head. But what should’ve been a happy occasion turned into tragedy when the father-in-law-to-be was found murdered the night before the big day, and all eyes pointed to Jocelyn.

One day after Niall Horan blocked Michael Bublé on The Voice, leaving him “astonished” and “hurt,” the Canadian crooner got sweet revenge on Tuesday during Night 4 of the Season 28 Blind Auditions.
Bublé made his power play via the audition of a mustachio’d Oregonian named Austin Gilbert, whose perfectly serviceable performance of Luke Combs’ “The Kind of Love We Make” (TVLine grade: B+) was sound and solid. Heck, it was even “great,” according to Reba McEntire. But with so many other country artists in the mix, Gilbert was struggling to cut through the noise and separate himself from his competition.

Initially, the Dark Hearts, the fictional drug-dealing biker gang in the new HBO miniseries “Task,” was born out of plot necessity. As IndieWire previously covered, the narrative structure of “Task” was inspired by Michael Mann’s 1995 crime classic “Heat,” placing its audience in the position of rooting for both FBI Agent Tom Brandis (Mark Ruffalo) and the thief, Robbie Prendergrast (Tom Pelphrey), he is chasing.
“Robbie’s a good guy, and I always saw him as a good guy, and Pelphrey saw him as a good guy, so we needed someone to add danger to the story. It was a plot need early on,” said “Task” creator Brad Ingelsby on an upcoming episode of the Filmmaker Toolkit podcast when discussing the origins of the Dark Hearts. “So, who’s closing in the walls around Robbie?
