The Muscular Dystrophy Association funds and advocates for research in muscular dystrophy, ALS, and related neuromuscular diseases, as well as advocating for the people afflicted with these complex conditions that often have no medical treatment, let alone cure. The movies below all have at least one character with one of these diseases and often the illness is central to the theme or plot of the film.
