Building on the success of last year’s event, we brought together leaders from across the world of sport and entertainment for our 2026 Thought Leadership Event at the iconic Royal Albert Hall, exploring how we can continue to Keep Your World On while making event delivery more sustainable. Behind every great sporting event is a complex infrastructure operation… and the 2026 Solheim Cup was no exception. Over 4 months on site, Aggreko delivered the temporary power and temperature control solutions, with 43 Stage V generators running exclusively on HVO, meeting the event’s strict emissions requirements. Our partnership included the installation of solar generation and 14 battery energy storage systems for overnight power, alongside chillers and air handlers.
