  • Thanks for joining us last week, Ed! It was a stellar panel and we walked away with some very actionable takeaways, including the charge for A&E firms to leverage domain expertise to help owners adopt new technologies and that process change, which requires addressing polices, specs, and contractual obligations, is harder than technology change and so must be addressed carefully. Looking forward to connecting again soon at another BuiltWorlds event!

  • This year's Infrastructure Conference Demo Day was a competition like no other! Our innovative entrepreneurs pitched their infrastructure-focused solutions to a panel of demo judges made up of representatives from Kajima, Arup, Braemar Energy Ventures, Leonard by VINCI, Infrastructure Ventures, Oldcastle Infrastructure, and Exelon. While all our competitors presented exciting solutions, two stood out to the judges and tied for first place in the day's competition. Please help us congratulate both Dr. Yanzhi (Ann) Xu, co-founder & CEO of ElectroTempo, and Cam Raufi, founder & CEO of Prezerv Technologies. 🏆 ElectroTempo aims to deliver scalable software solutions to accelerate transportation electrification. The company’s subscription model provides access to dashboards, algorithms, and data bundles that will help determine how much, where, and when EV charging demand will arise. Watch Ann's full pitch: https://lnkd.in/g--4cuvV 🏆 Prezerv Technologies offers next-generation data and analytics platform that aims to deliver AI-powered 3D mapping and inspection data solutions to facilitate safer and faster infrastructure projects. • Principles of the circular economy, in many ways, seem like a perfect fit for construction, as the industry generates more than 2 billion tons of waste annually—a considerable amount of which is feasibly reusable. Yet, we've been slow to adopt. In today's installment of BuiltWorlds Conversations, a teaser for the upcoming Tokyo Global Summit, we'll be sitting down with Adeline Chan (AAL INNOVATION), Yuji Doi (Kajima), and Zhuan Zhang (AAL Innovation) to dig into what exactly the circular economy is, why it has yet to achieve widespread adoption in the industry, and why companies may want to consider it in the future. Register for today's webinar, happening at 8pm CST in the U.S. (which is tomorrow at 10am in local Tokyo time): https://lnkd.in/guY4bJKS We hope you'll join us for what we expect to be an insightful conversation about a topic that could transform the way we think about sustainability in the AEC industry. And if you can't join us for this episode of BuiltWorlds Conversations, we hope you'll join us at the Tokyo Global Summit. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/gHaebZye
