THE LIBRARY OF MINDS: Episode 2 - featuring Roelof Botha CFO of PayPal during its most chaotic years. Early backer of YouTube, Instagram, and Square. Now Managing Partner at Sequoia - shaping the next generation of enduring companies. We discuss: → Surviving PayPal’s near-collapse with just 7 months of cash → Why great orgs align around a single metric (and cut fast when needed) → How Square used a wedge to build a financial ecosystem → The psychology of discipline, clarity, and long-term thinking Plus: Lessons from Sequoia’s internal reinvention, what founders still get wrong about scale, thinking like an actuary, and how to design orgs that avoid extinction. Talk to Roelof and listen to the full episode in the comments!

  • 🚨 The Library of Minds: Episode 1 is live 🚨 Guest: Keith Rabois: PayPal, Square, Opendoor, Khosla Ventures. Keith has been at the center of building some of the most important companies in tech. But this isn’t just another podcast interview. With Library of Minds, the episode is only the beginning. After you listen, you can ask Keith anything, and get an immediate response from his Digital Mind. Episode Highlights: • Why speed is the ultimate strategy in the AI era • The culture signals that predict long-term success • The org design mistakes founders keep repeating • Why Slack (and even stretching) might be bad for you 🎧 Listen here: www.libraryofminds.com 👉 Keep the conversation going: https://lnkd.in/dVXRvYYY

I've got news so big it justifies a post on LinkedIn (huge I know). After years and years of living outside the US and focusing entirely on making notes better, I'm re-locating to San Francisco to be at the center of the tech revival. I'm joining Delphi (alongside Tobias Whetton) to help build the digital minds of the future and preserve our humanity in the age of AI. Wrote up a whole blog post on my newly resuscitated blog, read below: https://lnkd.in/gRFwSd8G

Imagine being able to chat with the people you look up to — not just read their books or watch their talks, but actually ask them questions in real time. That’s what Delphi is building. Backed by Sequoia Capital and the founders of YouTube, Zoom, LinkedIn, and PayPal, Delphi creates Digital Minds: interactive versions of extraordinary people’s knowledge that you can actually talk to. I’m excited to be joining Delphi as a Campus Ambassador at Stanford, helping bring this vision to campus through events, workshops, and demos. Some of the people already on Delphi include: Roelof Botha — Sequoia Capital partner who once served as CFO at PayPal. Brian Halligan — Co-founded HubSpot and now Growth Partner at Sequoia Vanessa Van Edwards — Behavioral researcher and bestselling author of Captivate. And Delphi is only just starting: Raised a $16M Series A led by Sequoia Capital Already trusted by 2,000+ experts, creators, and business owners 📍 If you are a student at Stanford and want to explore Delphi, comment “Delphi” or DM me to get you set up! 👩🏫 If you are a professors curious about using Delphi for office hours or lectures? I’d love to give you a quick demo and help you get started!

Welcome to the Library of Minds, from Delphi Congrats to the Delphi team for bringing this to life!!! https://lnkd.in/gcwHgMFd It's the only video podcast series where before, during, and after the show you can talk to each guest via their Delphi. How does it work? First listen to the podcast as if it were a normal podcast. Then click in on their Delphi. Access it with the "Ask me a question" button. Each Delphi is trained on every post, article, video, book, and more that the person has created, so when you ask it questions, it offers answers based on their actual opinions and based on what they've actually written in the past. Instead of generic AI trained on many sources, each Delphi is trained on what you have to say and offers answers that reflect how you think. Prediction: in the future, everyone will have a Delphi, and your Delphi will be the main way people connect with you on the Internet. Instead of hoping people might visit your many different static profile pages on the Internet, your Delphi will be that one living profile that is always up to date, reflects your actual thoughts, and can hold a conversation with everyone, anywhere, all at once. Anyone can make a Delphi. And you can embed it on any site. Here's an example: I made a Delphi and embedded on my art site: https://lnkd.in/gdag4Dff or you can call my Delphi for free at +1 (650) 675-5734 Find many more over at the Library of Minds.
