“We need to have you.” That’s what enterprise customers say when you solve a painful, specific problem, not when you pitch a broad platform with 14 features they don’t need. In this clip from our webinar with ATDC’s Alex Rhodeen, we talk about what actually opens doors with supply chain enterprises: Visibility into landed costs in the face of tariff uncertainty? Mission critical. A solution that saves one ops manager hours each week? Deal breaker (in a good way). An idea a big company might steal and try to DIY? That’s the risk. So make it defensible. If you’re trying to get your foot in the door in supply chain tech, start small. Solve deeply. Be essential. ▶️ Watch the clip #supplychain #startups #b2bsaas #logistics #enterprisesales #productstrategy

Your S&OP process might be the problem. Here's how to fix it. 👇 Most companies have a Sales & Operations Planning process. But very few use it as the strategic powerhouse it should be. S&OP should align leadership. Fuel smart trade-offs. Drive confident, cross-functional decisions. If that’s not your reality yet, this post is for you. We’ve broken down the top 5 reasons S&OP fails—and what high-performing teams do differently. And if you're ready to transform your process from reactive to remarkable, join us this October for the World Class Sales and Operations Planning course—taught by industry pros using real-world cases. Congratulations to Katja Meuche for defending her thesis, Placing the Right Product at the Right Location: Studies on Inventory Placement, through her Amazon–Georgia Tech SCL doctoral scholarship. Her work offered Amazon new insights on product substitution, long-tail inventory, and customer behavior, and she will now continue her journey with Amazon in Seattle. This milestone reflects the power of industry-academic collaboration and the opportunities created through our partnerships.
Professor ISyE, Georgia Tech: Executive Director Supply Chain & Logistics Institute, Director Physical Internet Center, Coca-Cola Chair Material Handling & Distribution
Congrats to Katja Meuche for defending her thesis 'Placing the Right Product at the Right Location: Studies on Inventory Placement' realized in collaboration with Amazon. Through her Amazon-GTSCL doctoral scholarship, Katja has realized amazing cocneptual, modeling, and empirical research contributions on placement of products across the fulfillment of large e-commerce retailer. She accounted for products from head to tail, even way into the long tail, for substitution and willingness to wait, to develop methodologies and models that allowed her to offer highly pertinent and impactful strategic and tactical insights, even for a world leading player such as Amazon. In fact, Amazon liked so much her work and personality that she is about to start full time with them in Seattle, extending her work to new key challenges. I want to thank the thesis committee for their excellent jury work: Dr. Cristiana Lara from Amazon and Professors Xin Chen, Mathieu Dahan (co-advisor) and David Goldsman, my colleagues in the ISyE School and in the Supply Chain & Logistics Institute at Georgia Tech. Thanks also to Dr. Louis Faugère from Amazon for his superb work as Katja's manager when in internships at Amazon in the last years. It was great watching them interact, as Louis is also a proud GT graduate of ISyE and the Physical Internet Center. As Katja's advisor, I am proud of her achievements from her start in our Physical Internet Center to this thesis defense and forthcoming papers. I am convinced she will be among those to watch growing in forthcoming years in the supply chain domain.
