"Built for Speed" was the theme at Women in HVACR 2026, and there was plenty of momentum to match. 🏁 We spent the last few days connecting with the contractors, technicians, and leaders shaping what’s next for HVACR, with great conversations, thoughtful sessions, and plenty of laughs thanks to Christine Cashen’s keynote. One takeaway that stuck with us came from HARDI: homeowners benefit from understanding their financing options earlier in the home improvement journey. When homeowners are informed from the start, they can make decisions with more confidence, and contractors can spend more time focused on the work ahead. That’s the kind of experience GoodLeap is working to enable: helping contractors grow their businesses while making home improvement simpler for the homeowners they serve. Thanks to Women in HVACR for an inspiring few days, and to everyone who stopped by to connect with us. Until next year. 🏁 #WomenInHVACR #HVACR #WomenInTrades

The data is clear: trust is part of the home improvement problem. 35% of homeowners we surveyed said access to a trustworthy contractor is one of the most valuable services GoodLeap could offer. That insight helped shape Projects, now available in the GoodLeap Home app. Homeowners can connect with licensed, insured professionals from a network of 6,600+, with a dedicated concierge there to help from the first question through project completion. It’s part of how we’re building GoodLeap beyond financing, using what homeowners tell us they need to create a better way to manage, improve and care for their homes. That’s today’s GoodLeap Data Drop. More homeowner insights to come. https://lnkd.in/gWB2Dg8y

Your ceiling fan has a fall setting. 🍂 Switching the direction of your fan can help circulate warm air back into the room, keeping things comfortable without immediately reaching for the thermostat. It’s a small change, but that’s the point: knowing how your home works can make it easier to manage. Swipe to see how it works, and find more ways to save energy and money in the GoodLeap Home app: https://bit.ly/4y5mFyH

  • Two events, one week, the same story on repeat: contractors don't want to just install, they want to run companies. At Nexstar Network Super Meeting, home services owners spent four days on growth, leadership, and putting AI to real use in their businesses. At GAF's Latinos In Roofing Summit, Latino roofing contractors got bilingual training on finance, sales, and AI - built specifically to help them scale past day-to-day installation work. The trades are professionalizing faster than most people realize. Getting to spend real time with the contractors leading that shift, and hear directly what's working for them, is exactly why we show up. We're grateful for those conversations, and proud to be building alongside the people making it happen. Erica Leonor Nicole M. Geraldina C Parrish Bryan Scrivens Iris Stemler Cassady Wehba

  • One of the biggest misconceptions about AI is that you can plug it in and see the results you want from day one. Our CTO, David Villagra, sat down with Authority Magazine, hosted by Medium, to talk about what it actually takes to use AI responsibly. Things like new skills, workflows, and in many cases, rethinking how a process works from the ground up. A few ideas we can't stop thinking about: → Curiosity, foresight, and humility all matter when you're learning to build and work with AI → There's a genuine learning curve. The organizations that succeed are the ones that stick with it long enough to move past the earliest stages of adoption → The goal isn't speed for its own sake. It's using AI to make better decisions while keeping people involved wherever judgment and expertise matter most The throughline? For David, the win isn’t speed: it’s judgement. Knowing where AI’s role ends and the human element begins, so every decision is fully informed. Full interview here: https://bit.ly/4jgdg2I #AI #Fintech #Leadership #HomeImprovement

  • Homeowners will spend an estimated $518 billion this year on repairs and upgrades, most of it decided with a utility bill, a Google search, and a gut feeling. That's the gap the GoodLeap Home app is closing. Energy Insights turns a homeowner's own utility data into a clear picture of what's driving their bill and where they could save. Projects matches them with a contractor from GoodLeap’s network of 6,600+ licensed, insured contractors, so the next step isn't a guess. We've spent years helping 1.7M+ homeowners finance a single project. This is the shift: from funding one decision to being there for every home decision that comes their way. • How much energy does it take to power the Super Bowl? Roughly 50 MWh. In a single day, GoodGrid dispatched 68 MWh across three California programs as temperatures spiked, helping ease strain on the grid when it mattered most. That’s the power of thousands of homes working together. And enrolled homeowners get rewarded for participating. See how GoodGrid works → https://bit.ly/4iq6maR
