For us, manufacturing means more than building. It means shaping the future. From precision components to advanced aerospace systems, our teams’ skill and dedication ensure we can deliver the most advanced technologies at scale.
Across Northrop Grumman’s 30 million sq. ft. of manufacturing space, I’ve talked to machinists and welders, technicians and fabricators, operators and supervisors – all of whom have one thing in common: a deep pride and commitment to serving our customers and building a more secure nation. Their expertise underpins our ability to develop, scale, produce and deliver the world’s most advanced technologies, and exemplifies the enduring power of American manufacturing. https://lnkd.in/gH5DR8wN #ManufacturingDay

We deliver on our commitments. 🤝 In September, the 9th Battlefield Airborne Communications Node (BACN) arrived at Hanscom Air Force Base (Mass.). This growing fleet of Bombardier E-11A jets, equipped with robust communications capabilities, provides persistent connectivity and operational support 24 hours a day, seven days a week for the United States Air Force and the critical partner missions it supports. The AN/TPS-80 G/ATOR is in full-rate production and ready now to provide the advanced ground-based AESA radar capabilities needed to support Golden Dome for America.
Threats to our homeland are growing faster, more complex and more unpredictable. At Northrop Grumman, we are ensuring our defenders stay one step ahead. In my more than two decades at Northrop Grumman, I’ve seen firsthand how the right technologies, built with speed, precision and trust, enable our military to perform its national defense mission and protect our freedom. I know we have the right solutions, ready now, to keep Americans safe from the threats of today and tomorrow. Golden Dome for America represents the next evolution of layered homeland defense. The AN/TPS-80 Ground/Air Task Oriented Radar (G/ATOR), is a mobile, ground-based sensor primed to play a key role in protecting our nation. With 38 systems fielded and counting, G/ATOR is currently delivering unmatched 360-degree coverage to the United States Marine Corps and United States Air Force. It’s advanced S-band AESA radar has demonstrated exceptional long-range precision and weapons-quality performance in the field – proving itself as a trusted solution where reliability cannot be compromised. Golden Dome will bring together systems across domains. Through interoperability with all NATO and U.S. command and control systems, G/ATOR provides the actionable data needed to detect, assess, and respond to incoming threats in real time, as well as the ability to share that data across the battlespace. Leveraging advanced microelectronics manufactured in-house at Northrop Grumman, G/ATOR can execute all its missions simultaneously, giving our military the ability to respond quickly and decisively to multiple threats at once — this agility is critical for a mission where milliseconds matter. Golden Dome is an effort designed to preserve our very way of life for generations to come. With proven advanced technologies, an unyielding focus on innovation, and steadfast commitment to our nation’s defenders, Northop Grumman is proud to deliver the systems that ensure they remain ready, resilient and ahead of tomorrow’s threats. https://lnkd.in/ev_J5mcu
