    Six months ago, Runlayer GTM was a team of one. Today we're 25. Six months from now we'll be 50.    I've been in enterprise software for 15 years and I've never seen growth like this - we signed six new logos in the last seven days (one rep did 10 new logos this quarter).  So we're hiring:  - Sales Leaders  - Account Executives  - Forward Deployed Engineers I'm building the GTM organization I always wanted to be part of and I need great people to help us take this to the next level. Every enterprise on earth is racing to deploy AI agents, and somebody has to make it work in the enterprise. That's the category we're defining.     The CEO of Palo Alto Networks, a $300 billion company, paints a grim picture for the state of enterprise agents. He's right to worry. But he's missing something important. His take: - There is no secure version of MCPs - There is no standard architecture to authenticate or deploy agents - No company knows how many models are running in their environments - Nobody has any idea how safe these models are, or if they have any backdoors All of these are completely valid concerns for any executive pushing AI adoption. They're also all completely incorrect. This might make sense if your AI rollout strategy was to give employees a ChatGPT subscription and let them go nuts. MCPs, by themselves, are not enterprise-ready. But platforms (like Runlayer) exist that give them all the features they're apparently lacking: - Security - Authentication - Complete visibility into cost - Golden path for agent deployment The secure version of MCPs does exist. You just need to find the right platform to run them. If anyone at Palo Alto Networks scrolls by, I'd love to show you exactly how we've done this for companies like Gusto and Instacart.

  • Agents spawning sub-agents raises a question: how do you make sure the original human's identity and permissions carry through the entire chain? A standard for NHI hasn't been set, but our founding IAM engineer Alvaro Inckot is helping shape that conversation based on what he sees day in and out across our customers.

    What's cool about trust controls is the depth of the contributions. We are getting feedback from the people who are building agentic systems like Alvaro Inckot Founding Engineer Runlayer These are the people who are in the weeds of agentic security day in and out, the ones who can surface the tensions that only emerge when you're actually deploying delegation chains, managing credential scopes, or tracking what an agent can see across a system. The quality bar for trust controls rises when contributors have skin in the game. A practitioner flags a control because they've hit the problem three times and watched it cause an incident or a customer conversation. They argue against vagueness in a control objective because they know what it means to measure conformance in production and watch false negatives cascade. This is what I hoped for when we open-sourced the project. The controls are stronger because the people building them are the same ones bearing the consequences if they're incomplete or miss the mark. A Runlayer founding engineer understands the attack surface of agentic delegation. The community becomes a filter for what actually matters, which is exactly the opposite of a generalist control set that covers every possible risk equally.
