High-quality open-source software for web developers.
Headless, type-safe, & powerful utilities for Web Applications, Routing, State Management, Data Visualization, Datagrids/Tables, and more.
📚 It's been way too long since my last blogpost. Today, I'm continuing my TanStack Router series with a pattern that I've been teaching in my workshops for over a year:
How to keep prefetches in sync between route loaders and components:

TanStack Form v2 is now in alpha! 📝
It brings drastically improved performance, far more flexible validators, even stronger type safety, and more!
We're excited to get it into your hands and to start testing it. Try it out & let us know your thoughts:

I've been a maintainer of TanStack Table for the past 4 years now, and I put 2 years of work into this new version. It's such a huge relief to finally ship this as stable. I can't wait to see what this new release enables you all to build. Riccardo Perra and I put a ton of work into this release.
🌴 Announcing TanStack Table V9, now stable! 🌴
After more than two years of development, TanStack Table V9 delivers a new foundation while keeping the familiar headless model you already know.
• 10 framework adapters with overhauled reactivity
• Faster processing and up to 86% lower memory usage
• Fine-grained state management powered by TanStack Store
• Stronger, more flexible type safety
• Tree-shakable features, row models, and functions
• New APIs for composing reusable table systems
• Cell Selection, Cell Spanning, and refreshed existing features
Table V9 gives TanStack Table a more performant, composable, and extensible foundation for years to come. We cannot wait to see what you build with it!

Based on lots of beta feedback, the most requested missing feature of TanStack Table has been Cell Selection and Keyboard Navigation.
And now, an official cellSelectionFeature has been added to V9!
I originally started out thinking that we could just build an official example, showing you how to implement this stuff yourself, but then after I built that, I thought that it should at least be an official plugin. And then after just a couple hours more of refinement, I just ended up adding it as a stock feature.
There are a couple reasons why this is now a new built-in stock feature:
1. In V9, all features are opt-in, so this doesn't bloat the js bundle for anyone not using it.
2. The keyboard navigation part of this feature is actually not a part of this TanStack Table feature... because that gets handled by TanStack Hotkeys!
On the TanStack Table side, this feature only handles the state management and APIs of the cell selection. Then you can set up any custom keyboard shortcuts or external actions otherwise to interact with the table APIs.
There's a lot of advanced complexity with keyboard shortcuts that I never wanted to have to deal with within the TanStack Table core codebase, so thankfully, with nice composable patterns like this, Table can hand that complexity off to TanStack Hotkeys or your own custom solution of choice!
Ahead of the upcoming TanStack Table V9 stable release, Kevin Van Cott and I have spent the past few months rethinking state management and reactivity around a headless, signal-first architecture while keeping framework integrations straightforward.
Together with Table’s framework-agnostic core, this model makes framework integrations simpler to build and maintain, helping V9 launch with nine dedicated adapters while laying the foundation for more to come.
Here’s a technical deep dive into our journey and how V9’s reactivity model came together: https://lnkd.in/ddn3C2zX

We're starting to add adapters for even more JavaScript frameworks and libraries. In the past couple of weeks, we've introduced our first Alpine JS, Marko, and Ember JS adapters.
All thanks to community contributions!
When TanStack Table V9 launches as stable (really soon™), it will be offering a record number of adapters from us.
Preact, Ember, and Alpine are new! And we're also still exploring potential Marko and Qwik V2 adapters.
Writing our libraries in 95%+ vanilla JS makes this maintainable.
