Leadership isn’t only about driving results – it’s about how we support one another and serve our communities. As part of a recent TerraForm Power leadership workshop, our team came together to strengthen how we lead and live our values. A highlight of the day was working with Shawn Kingston, Chief of the Center for Development and Civic Engagement at the James J. Peters Veterans Affairs Medical Center in the Bronx, NY. Together, we built wheelchairs for local veterans – an experience that reminded us of the power of teamwork, gratitude, and service. This activity not only reinforced our bonds as colleagues but also gave us the privilege of giving back to those who have already given so much. It was a powerful reminder that when we come together with purpose, we can make a meaningful impact.
