    Disasters are unpredictable and many occur with little notice, striking in the middle of the night or when you're away from home. We're now responding to a major disaster about every two weeks, and we can only do that with support from generous donors. This National Preparedness Month, we're recognizing members of the Annual Giving Disaster Program and Disaster Responder program that donate in advance of disasters, helping ensure we're ready to respond at a moment's notice.     How can we help realize the dream of the late Martin Luther King Jr.? By dedicating ourselves to a lifetime of giving back to others. That's the aim of Realize The Dream, a national community service mobilization initiative inspired by the legacy of the King family. We were honored to take part in a recent day of service in our hometown of Oakland, California, with Martin Luther King III and Arndrea Waters King, where Stephen and Ayesha Curry announced a partnership between their Eat. Learn. Play. Foundation and Realize the Dream, and committed to 100,000 hours of service. Our Clorox brand is also supporting the Realize the Dream initiative. Through a partnership, they’re helping bring the feel-good power of clean to classrooms and communities by donating 2 million Clorox Disinfecting Wipes and launching a free K–6 curriculum to support emotional and practical development. This is living our purpose — because when our consumers are well and thriving, we are, too.
