Today is an exciting day for Pennant! We have formally completed the transaction with United Health Group and Amedisys to acquire 54 home health, hospice and personal care operations in the states of Tennessee, Alabama and Georgia. For Pennant, the expansion into the Southeast begins a new chapter in our growth journey! We do so from a position of strength, building on proven leadership, operational excellence, and a clear vision for the future. This acquisition opens the door for emerging leaders in this new region to grow within our innovative platform. Over the last several weeks, we’ve been able to meet and more closely interact with many of the incredible employees from UHG and Amedisys that will be joining the Pennant family. We are encouraged by the strength in their operations and commitment to high-quality care. We’re confident that as we combine their operating expertise with our locally driven leadership model, the future will be bright for Pennant and these new teams in the Southeast!
