At Toyota North Carolina, we provide the right tools and support to build a rewarding career. BEV Formation Manager, Ozzie, came to Toyota because she was searching for a bigger opportunity to support her family. “I started out as a temporary employee. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to grow through several roles—team member, team leader, group leader, and now, BEV Formation Manager.” She received impactful guidance from the start, which has helped her achieve continued growth over her 13-year career with us. “During orientation, I heard a quote that stuck with me: ‘Be brilliant at the basics.’ I’ve carried that mindset with me into every role I’ve held. Focusing on the fundamentals, doing them well, and helping others do the same has been a key part of my growth.” Today, Ozzie continues to thrive in her role, doing work she loves and helping others with passion and pride. “One of the things I love most about working at Toyota is that it allows me to live out my passion for teaching. In my current role, I get to train and develop members every day—supporting their progress just like others supported mine.” With several advancements under her belt and the support to keep climbing, Ozzie credits the Toyota culture for her continued success: “What truly sets Toyota apart is its Mendomi Culture—treating members like family and always pushing for continuous improvement". Felipe G.’s Toyota journey began after falling in love with the Toyota Supra in Fast and Furious. Since 2005, he has gained experience at numerous Toyota plants before returning to Toyota Texas, where he continues to build a career fueled by his passion for engineering, faith, and cycling—including a memorable ride in Japan. For the past two years, he has served as an advisor for Young Professionals.
