We wrapped up an incredible quarter with our team connecting with customers, partners, and the security community around the world. 🌍 From teeing off on the golf course and cooking together to painting custom kicks, the energy kept building everywhere we went. Thank you to everyone who joined us along the way and helped make it such a memorable quarter. We’re carrying that momentum into an even bigger one ahead! • AI inventory tells you what’s there.   But can it tell you what your agents are doing right now?   Upwind AI Detection & Response is now GA, giving security teams real-time visibility into AI agents running in production.   AI DR continuously tracks:   • The tools, APIs, and data each agent accesses • Whether its activity has shifted from its normal behavior • How it may have been manipulated • What sensitive data was exposed Each detection includes the attack path, affected data, and recommended remediation, so teams have the context to respond right away. ⚡   Read more: https://lnkd.in/gZr7wa_5

Excited to share that Upwind Security is joining NVIDIA and an incredible group of industry leaders in the Open Secure AI Alliance. AI is foundational to how we operate at Upwind Security. We’re already using and training NVIDIA open #Nemotron models for cloud-security-specific needs, supported by #NIM infrastructure, #Garak, #NeMo Guardrails and purpose-built agent harnesses. At Upwind Security, AI is not an isolated product feature it is a foundational layer across the company’s backend systems, product experiences, security research and engineering. Upwind applies AI to interpret cloud runtime signals, accelerate vulnerability research, support engineering workflows, reduce security noise and help teams turn complex data into focused action. This company-wide adoption creates a continuous feedback loop in which product usage, research discoveries and engineering insights contribute to increasingly capable and relevant AI systems. We’re bringing Upwind Security’s inside-out, runtime-first perspective and our hands-on experience operating open models in production to the Alliance. Together, we’ll help advance open research, harness mechanisms, evaluations and guardrails that defenders can inspect, adapt and trust. Proud of the team and excited to collaborate with NVIDIA, Box, Crusoe, F5, Factory AI , GitHub, Mistral, Perplexity, Uber, vLLM and the wider community. This is only the beginning. • The beach days are officially over... it's time for the Agentic Pack to head to Las Vegas. 🎰🐾 Meet the newest members of the Upwind team. Each pup represents a specialized AI agent, working together to help security teams move faster, investigate smarter, and respond with confidence. At Black Hat, they'll be trading flip-flops for the show floor to demonstrate how AI can take the heavy lifting out of cloud security. Amplify your security team with AI agents. Upwind's Agentic Pack combines runtime-powered security context with specialized AI agents that investigate, validate, and drive remediation across your environment, helping your team focus on what matters most. If you're heading to Black Hat USA, stop by our booth to meet the Pack (they're much cuter in person 🐶) and see how runtime-powered AI is changing the way security teams work. 📍Booth #1764 🎲 See you in Las Vegas!

  • We asked a room full of cybersecurity leaders to paint whiskey bottles... And honestly? We were impressed.   Last week at Great Jones Distilling Co. in NYC, customers, partners, and friends traded keyboards for paintbrushes for an afternoon of creativity and conversation. 🎨   Turns out, when you bring together great people in a unique setting, the conversations come naturally (and so does the friendly competition over whose bottle came out best).   Thanks to everyone who joined us. We had a blast and are already looking forward to the next one. Cheers! 🥃 Nadav Biber, Jake Martens, Ian M, Janie Ly, Adrianna C., Ben Yuter, Kevin Morris, MBA, Fraidy von Weisl

  • Thankful to Gal Aviv for years of partnership! 🙏

About a decade ago, I met Amiram Shachar. He was in the early days of building Spot.io and looking for a design partner. While the value of real-time cost optimization was clear, I was highly skeptical of this early-stage startup's ability to handle the scale of our global exchange platform. Amiram promised he’d make it work. And he did. He joined us in the office, set up his laptop in our open space, and took the integration hands-on from local test environments to full production load. Spot became a core part of our cloud architecture, supporting hundreds of millions of users. Over the years, both companies grew and were acquired for a combined total of over $1 Billion. More importantly, Amiram and I have stayed close friends ever since, despite being an ocean apart. Today, Amiram is building the cyber unicorn Upwind Security, tackling some of the hardest security challenges created by the AI era. I asked him to promise that on his next visit to Israel, he’d join our all-hands. He kept his word, came through, and left the team completely inspired. Thanks for making it, mate, it was an absolute pleasure!

  • Security teams rarely spend their day looking at every type of cloud risk at once. They are investigating a threat, reviewing vulnerabilities, checking posture, or mapping the attack surface. That is why we built Focus Mode around the way security teams actually work, with dedicated workspaces that remove everything unrelated to the task at hand. Now we are bringing that same approach to AI Security. Focus Mode for AI Security gives teams a dedicated view of the AI models, agents, frameworks, guardrails, and services actually running in their environment, along with the risks tied to them. Teams can uncover shadow AI, identify AI-specific misconfigurations, review connections to public GenAI services, and prioritize vulnerable AI packages using runtime context. Everything is organized around the AI stack, so teams can quickly understand what is running and where the risk is. Learn more in the full blog. Link in the comments. 👇
