Vantage now supports Cartesia cost and usage data. Users can now track voice AI spend alongside the rest of their cloud and AI providers. Monitor consumption, set budgets, catch anomalies, ask questions to the FinOps Agent or MCP, and allocate Cartesia costs using Cost Reports and Virtual Tags. Costs can also be broken down by capability, including text-to-speech, Line agents, and credits versus agent usage.

We just launched Usage Budgets, enabling users to monitor tokens and provider usage units like EC2 instance-hours or GBs of data transfer alongside cost. Teams can track usage across users, applications, and teams, then set usage targets and alerts for each budget period. For cloud infrastructure, this could mean tracking total storage across object, file, and block storage, or monitoring CDN traffic against private pricing agreements. For AI, it could mean tracking token consumption before prepaid credits run out and overage charges begin. Usage Budgets helps teams manage both sides of infrastructure spend: how much they’re paying and how much they’re consuming.

Today marks six years of Vantage! Thank you to all of our customers and employees who have supported us and helped shape what we’ve built along the way. When we started, we focused on AWS and cloud costs. The market looked very different, and we saw an opportunity to build faster in a category where many of the existing products had stopped evolving. Since then, Vantage has expanded to 35 native integrations (and growing) across cloud, AI, infrastructure, and SaaS. We’re also building capabilities we couldn’t have imagined six years ago, including MCP, the FinOps Agent with automated remediation, and Canvas for creating business metric reports using natural language. A lot has changed in six years. We’re excited to keep building for what comes next.

Last week, we had the opportunity to sponsor the coffee cart at 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗡𝗬𝗖! ☕️ We had tons of great conversations about the future of data and AI. Thanks to everyone who stopped by for a coffee and a chat -- and to the ClickHouse team for having us and bringing together such a great group of NYC engineers. Until next time!

We just launched Native Business Metrics Imports for GCP Big Query and ClickHouse! Customers who keep operational metrics in either system can now connect them directly to Vantage and import metrics like subscribers, billable events, or AI invocations. Once imported, teams can use this data to calculate unit costs like cost per subscriber, usage unit costs like tokens per Jira Ticket, and gross margins, or allocate costs using business metrics in Virtual Tags. BigQuery and ClickHouse join existing Business Metrics integrations including Amazon CloudWatch, Datadog, Snowflake, and Metronome. Read more: https://lnkd.in/e5k8vNXB

We just launched support for DigitalOcean costs! Users can now view DigitalOcean spend alongside 30+ other cost providers, with costs broken down by service, team, region, Droplet size, and more. Set budgets, include DigitalOcean costs in reports, and ask questions about your spend with the FinOps Agent. Read more: https://lnkd.in/eefPsDE4

Vantage now supports Token Allocation for Amazon Bedrock! Users can now allocate Bedrock spend by team, application, customer, feature, environment, experiment, and more. Bedrock Model Invocation Logs are easy-to-set-up, AWS-native logs that capture detailed request-level usage and user-defined tags. However, they do not include cost or billing allocation data. Vantage joins these logs with your Bedrock costs to enrich spend with token-level usage data, making it easier to understand exactly what is driving AI costs and allocate them to the teams and workloads responsible. Vantage now supports OpenAI Codex costs! Users can now track Codex spend and usage alongside existing OpenAI Platform costs, covering Codex CLI, Codex Web, Codex VS Code, and Codex GitHub. Costs can be broken down by Codex client, model, user, token type, and speed, making it easier to understand where Codex spend is coming from and how usage varies across teams and workflows. We just launched support for Cloudflare AI Gateway as a Token Cost Allocation source! Teams routing LLM traffic through Cloudflare can natively enrich AI cost data with per-request metadata, such as team, product, customer, purpose, or environment. Vantage handles decryption, normalization, deduplication, matching, and allocation. Built-in fields such as gateway name, cache status, and rate-limit status are automatically mapped to allocation tags alongside the custom metadata attached at the gateway. The resulting tags are available across Cost Reports, Virtual Tags, Budgets, and Cost Alerts. That way teams can attribute inference spend by user, customer, product, team, feature, agent, or environment, even when requests share the same underlying provider API key. We just launched Flexible Budget Periods! Teams can now set budget periods from one day to multiple years and track current-period performance, budget status, history, and hierarchical rollups in one place. This supports use cases like daily budgets for developer AI spend, quarterly budgets for infrastructure planning, and multi-year tracking against Enterprise Discount Program commitments. The Budgets list page now includes an expandable tree table with current-period dates, performance summaries, search, filters, and configurable columns. Each budget’s Performance tab shows utilization, projected performance, budget vs. spend, and per-period actuals, forecasts, and variance. Hierarchical budgets also roll up utilization and show which child budgets are at risk or over budget. Read more: https://lnkd.in/erZ23hTS
