These weren't just numbers - they were fathers, sons, and brothers whose lives were senselessly taken. This brutal act of violence is not only an assault on innocent lives but also an attack on the ideals of peace and humanity. What a phenomenal turn out overall and in particular from HCLS industry. Hyderabad has evolved to be a major hub for Life Sciences, Healthcare Sectors and a strategic location for GCCs. It was fantastic to meet fellow professionals in Health Sciences space and talk about how technology can help transform the industry. Sunil(Sunny) Krishnan liked thisSunil(Sunny) Krishnan liked thisEarlier this week, I had the opportunity to join a dinner with Chris Degnan. Chris is a legend in our industry: the first sales hire at Snowflake who went on to build one of the most successful GTM organizations in enterprise software, but he is so incredibly down-to-earth, grounded, and humble about his journey. Chris carries the scars of someone who has lived every stage of growth, and almost every story or observation he shared landed directly on point. I’ve worked with Snowflake as a partner since its earliest days, when it was a ~100-person company, and it was fascinating for me to hear him reflect on those same periods of growth from the inside. Coming from a sales background and now leading a fast-growing company, I appreciated Chris’s perspective on what it takes to keep sales teams motivated and accountable over the long run. He’s a strong believer in frameworks like MEDDPICC, not just as a philosophy, but as a formula for scaling sales in a repeatable way. It made me realize we could be leaning into that more closely at Coalesce. What came through just as strongly as his knowledge was his sincerity. He made it clear that arrogance is something he simply cannot stand in sales, and that resonated with me. Confidence is important, but arrogance undermines trust with customers, peers, everyone. He even pointed out that the best sales reps aren’t always the ones from the big-name companies, but the ones who have proven they can close deals at less flashy, more difficult places. I walked away from dinner thinking about how much of leadership, at its best, comes down to humility, discipline, and the ability to earn trust over and over again. Lessons that I hope will stay with me for the rest of my career. Thanks to Anoushka Vaswani Naveed Matinfar from Lightspeed for hosting! Analyst coverage mostly focused on #manufacturing revival. As Apple was to TSMC in 16nm FinFET, so can NV be to Intel in 18A RibbonFET. There are quite a few neat tricks up in Oregon labs. Duopoly can now return to semiconductor manufacturing at leading edge nodes. As the current chipzilla in town, any road to Intel's revival in manufacturing had to pass via NV. But beyond the focus on leading edge manufacturing, there's another crown #jewel within the company that needs preserving as well. It is center stage in every deal & negotiation, but is not stated in so many words and definitely doesnt get the attention in news coverage. Can you guess what? PS: Belated Onam wishes !

I wrote this book because everywhere I look—schools, workplaces, homes, our public life (and my own personal life!)—I see how much we’re struggling with emotions, and how much better our lives could be if we had the skills to manage them.
