“I was the research adviser of Keguo Huang in 2012--2013 at Michigan Technological University. Under my supervision, he worked and wrote a report on the St. Petersburg paradox, which included researching existing literature, working on certain theoretical problems, and doing computer simulation studies. During this work, Keguo showed himself as a quick learner and a hard-working and quite capable researcher and programmer. He also has a pleasant personality. ”

Meritorious Winner of Mathematical Contest in Modelling
Consortium for Mathematics and its Applications(COMAP)
This is the modeling contest I participated as the team leader when I was junior in college. We were asked to generate a scheme to help police to predict the next crime location for any given serial killer. We used some ODE and probability knowledge. We ended up with a 60+ pages report and Meritorious Winner award. There were over 1000 teams and about 200 teams received this award.
