- Worked to expand the number of Community Leadership Workshops (CLEW), HOBY’s introductory one-day leadership program for high school freshmen, that are organized and planned in the State of Arizona.

- Worked directly with HOBY Arizona’s Board of Directors and served as a direct representation of HOBY Arizona’s alumni at the Board of Directors meetings to give a voice of all our alumni.
- Effectively articulated HOBY’s mission and programs in everything I did from participating in the Board’s annual strategic planning session to making a commitment to make sure that my high school was represented at HOBY for the next seminar.

Public Service Review is a journal dedicated to the publication and dissemination of young people’s reflections and experiences in the public service sector through professional or volunteer opportunities. The purpose of this journal is to acknowledge and influence the important and substantive work carried out by young people in local, state, and federal government entities, universities and colleges, and nonprofit organizations across the United States.
