Until my teenage years, I was certain to join our family-owned newspaper distribution business in the 3rd generation. But the internet changed everything: Physical newspapers became obsolete, margins collapsed yet processes largely stayed unchanged. Seeing this shift made me realize: I must get the best education in tech possible to not fall in that same trap. A few years later, this feels like a full circle moment: There was no place for me in our distribution business, but today I am helping the distribution industry adopt AI to adjust to the next large tech shift.
