Key AWS services for reliability
- [Instructor] It obviously goes without saying that if I host an application at Amazon, I'd kind of like it to be reliable. I'd like it to be available all the time. That's what the reliability pillar is focused on, giving you some best practices and some information based upon what Amazon customers have found, what Amazon has found as to these solutions work. Take a look at them. They may fit into your design. We want to design that application with overall reliability, but the application also has many different components. We also have to consider that there might be an infrastructure problem, there might be a service disruption, one of the managed services such as storage or compute, that makes up your application stack. So we need to be able to recover from these problems. It might just not be your application code. It might be a host of other potential problems that you have to design for. You also might want reliability of the application always being available, and perhaps…
