- [Instructor] DNS server logging can be seen if you go to Tools and then go to the Event Viewer. And then we can see a special log just for the DNS server. It will give us a good idea of what's happening. We see some informational type of logs, error logs. You might see some warnings as you see here. And you might even see some critical logs as well. If I go into the error log, we can see that there were some issues with records expiring. And we can go and resolve that if we'd like. We can look up the errors on a web search. And we can then resolve them. However, it doesn't tell us the whole story. We can also take a look at another type of logging. And if we go into the DNS management console, and I'm going to right-click on File Server for instance and go to Properties. There's a debug logging.
