⚡ One of the things I’m most excited about is our latest release: Dynamic Bid Boosters. As we’ve been building out Instamart’s ads platform, one thing we’ve been thinking a lot about is how we can give brands much more control over where and when they choose to bid higher. With Dynamic Bid Boosters, advertisers can now customise bids based on both audience and timing. 🎯 Audience-based boosters New to Brand Dormant Shoppers Brand Loyalists Frequent L2 Category Shoppers Swiggy Loyalists ⏰ Time-based boosters Day-wise Meal slot-wise Date ranges What makes this particularly interesting is that the boost doesn’t just get applied blindly to every impression. We apply it based on the likelihood of conversion, while working within the campaign’s Ad Slot rank, bid range and competition constraints. And if multiple boosters overlap, we use the highest applicable boost. 📌 Dynamic Bid Boosters are available across all Item Ads formats, except Last Minute Add-On. For me, this represents an important shift in how brands can think about bidding: Keyword → Bid → ROAS to Audience × Time × Intent → Bid In q-commerce, consumer intent can change significantly by who the shopper is, what they’re shopping for, and when they’re shopping. Giving brands the ability to reflect that in their bids makes optimisation much more granular. The exciting part now is seeing how brands use it — and understanding which audiences and moments actually create enough incremental value to justify a higher bid. Really proud of the team for getting this out. 🚀 And especially excited to see how this gets used through the upcoming festive season. #SwiggyInstamart #QuickCommerce #QCommerce #RetailMedia #PerformanceMarketing #AdTech

🚨 Quick Commerce Ads Are Getting More Expensive Before Festive Season! If you’re selling on Blinkit, Zepto or Swiggy Instamart, this is something you should be watching closely. With the festive season approaching, competition for sponsored visibility is increasing, and recent industry reports indicate that quick-commerce ad rates have risen by around 35%. And this is just before the biggest shopping period of the year. 👀 🎯 What this means for brands: • Higher competition for top placements • Rising CPC / ad costs • More brands fighting for the same customers • Poorly structured campaigns can burn budget quickly • Organic visibility alone may not be enough during the sale period 💡 The solution isn't simply increasing your ad budget. Brands need to focus on: ✅ Right SKU selection ✅ Auto + Manual campaign structure ✅ Search-term & keyword optimisation ✅ Competitor analysis ✅ Bid optimisation ✅ Festive offers & pricing ✅ Daily ROAS monitoring Festive season = higher demand + higher competition. The brands preparing their Quick Commerce strategy before the rush will have a much better chance of getting visibility when competition peaks. 📲 Planning to scale on Blinkit, Zepto or Instamart? What if an ad could reach a customer even after they’ve placed their order? 👀 That’s one of the interesting areas I’ve been working on at Swiggy Instamart Ads Monetization — Non-Endemic & Post-Order Screen Ads. From campaign planning and performance tracking to optimizing ROAS, CTR, CPC and sales, I get to see how data and consumer behaviour shape advertising outcomes. Retail Media is evolving fast, and I’m excited to be part of that journey. 🚀 #RetailMedia #PerformanceMarketing #Ecommerce #AdTech #DigitalAdvertising #Swiggy #Instamart

The best marketing doesn’t always look like an ad. This Ganesh Chaturthi, Swiggy demonstrated something every performance marketer should think about. A simple activation in Bandra: 🔔 Ring a bell. ⏱️ Wait 5 seconds. 🥟 Receive a free modak. Simple. But the interesting part wasn't the free modak. It was what happened next. Every box carried a QR code directing people to Instamart’s festive store. Suddenly, a small offline experience became a measurable digital journey: Experience → Emotion → Brand Recall → QR Scan → Store Visit → Purchase That’s smart marketing. We performance marketers spend our days looking at: CTR. CPL. CAC. ROAS. Conversions. All important. But sometimes we forget the metric that comes before all of them: ATTENTION. And not all attention is equal. You can buy attention with an advertisement. Or you can earn attention by giving someone an experience worth remembering. That’s where brand marketing and performance marketing should meet. Branding creates the memory. Performance captures the intent. Sales converts the opportunity. The future isn't Brand vs Performance. It's: Brand × Performance × Sales. Because the strongest marketing doesn't just make people click. It makes them remember and gives them a reason to act. What would you choose for your next campaign: One more ad creative, or one experience people actually want to talk about? #PerformanceMarketing #DigitalMarketing #GrowthMarketing #BrandMarketing #MarketingStrategy #CustomerExperience #Sales #LeadGeneration #Swiggy #Marketing

⚡ Quick Commerce: The Next Big Advertising Platform? When we hear “quick commerce,” we usually think about 10-minute delivery. But I think there is another interesting side to it: Quick commerce is becoming a marketing channel. Platforms like Blinkit, Zepto and Swiggy Instamart are not only helping customers buy products faster. They are also becoming places where brands can get discovered, promoted and purchased within minutes. Think about the customer journey: 👀 Product discovery → 🛒 Product consideration → 💰 Promotion/offer → 📦 Purchase All on the same platform. For brands, this creates some interesting opportunities: • Sponsored product placements • Banner and category advertising • Personalised recommendations • Flash offers and promotions • Data-driven targeting • Retargeting and repeat purchases From a Digital Marketing perspective, the biggest advantage is reaching customers when they already have purchase intent. From a Business Analytics perspective, brands can look beyond impressions and ask: 📊 Which placement generates conversions? 📊 Which promotion improves sales? 📊 What is the customer acquisition cost? 📊 Which products have the highest repeat rate? 📊 What is the actual ROI of the campaign? This makes quick commerce interesting because the gap between advertising and purchase is becoming smaller. The traditional journey might be: See an ad → Remember the brand → Search → Compare → Buy Quick commerce can make it: See → Click → Buy For marketers, this means one thing: Being present at the right moment can be as important as being visible everywhere. As an MBA student focusing on Digital Marketing and Business Analytics, I find this shift interesting because it combines consumer behaviour + advertising + technology + data. The question is no longer just: “How fast can you deliver?” It may soon be: “How effectively can you advertise, personalise and convert in those few minutes?” What do you think? Will quick commerce become one of the major advertising channels in India? #DigitalMarketing #QuickCommerce #MarketingAnalytics #BusinessAnalytics #ConsumerBehaviour #DigitalCommerce #Advertising #MarketingStrategy #MBA #MarketingTrends

🚀 Quick Commerce Sales Comparison: Where Should Brands Invest? Being live on Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart & BB Now is not enough. The real question is: 👉 Which platform is actually driving growth — and where should brands invest more? I recently worked on a quick-commerce performance analysis comparing the key platforms across Sales, Traffic, CTR, CVR, Availability, Ads & ROAS. 📊 What the analysis revealed: 🥇 Blinkit Strongest sales engine with high visibility, traffic and conversion. 🥈 Zepto Strong growth potential, especially with the right pricing, campaigns and sponsored visibility. 🥉 Swiggy Instamart Good traffic opportunity, but conversion and product visibility need stronger optimization. 🔹 BB Now Smaller contribution, but an important incremental revenue opportunity through better assortment and availability. The biggest learning? You can't use the same strategy across every quick-commerce platform. A winning strategy should be: Platform × SKU × Location × Pricing × Visibility × Conversion Instead of simply increasing ad spend, brands should identify: ✅ Which SKUs generate the highest ROAS ✅ Which platform has the best CVR ✅ Where CTR is high but CVR is low ✅ Which products need discounting ✅ Which locations have the highest demand ✅ Where OOS is killing potential sales 🎯 The objective isn't to sell everywhere. It's to maximize the potential of every platform. For brands operating across quick commerce, I would prioritize: Blinkit → Scale the winners Zepto → Build incremental growth Instamart → Improve conversion BB Now → Expand availability & assortment 📈 Quick Commerce Growth Formula: Availability × Visibility × Traffic × Conversion × Pricing = Sales Growth The next phase of e-commerce growth isn't just about being present on multiple platforms. It's about optimizing each platform differently. #QuickCommerce #Blinkit #Zepto #Instamart #BBNow #Ecommerce #D2C #Marketplace #GrowthMarketing #PerformanceMarketing #EcommerceGrowth #DigitalCommerce

Dynamic Bid Boosters — A Smarter Way to Optimize Ads on Swiggy Instamart One of the interesting features in Instamart Ads is Dynamic Bid Boosters, which allow brands to increase their bids for specific audiences or time periods. Instead of using the same bid throughout the campaign, brands can strategically boost bids when the opportunity is more relevant. Audience-Based Boosters: • New to Brand — Acquire new customers • Dormant Shoppers — Re-engage past customers • Brand Loyalists — Target repeat buyers • Frequent L2 Category Shoppers — Reach high-intent category shoppers • Swiggy Loyalists — Target highly engaged Swiggy users Time-Based Boosters: • Day-wise — Boost specific days • Meal Slot-wise — Boost specific meal times • Date Ranges — Increase visibility during festivals and seasonal campaigns For example, if the regular bid is ₹10 and a 20% booster is applied, the effective bid becomes ₹12 for the selected audience or time period. The key idea is simple: Right audience + Right time + Right bid = Better ad visibility For brands running quick-commerce campaigns, features like these can help make campaign strategies more targeted rather than relying only on a fixed bid. #SwiggyInstamart #QuickCommerce #DigitalMarketing #PerformanceMarketing #Ecommerce #RetailMedia #AdTech #GrowthMarketing #BrandGrowth #Advertising

Blinkit did not choose between ads and inventory. It spent on both, and one number stands out. Blinkit spent the last year rebuilding how it sources its own inventory, and the numbers behind that shift say a lot about what actually matters on the platform. The company moved from running Blinkit as a pure marketplace to owning close to 80 percent of its net order value through its own inventory by the second quarter of this financial year, and close to 90 percent by the third quarter. That is a company reshaping how it sources and controls inventory across its quick-commerce network. The scale behind this move is real: • 216 new dark stores added in a single quarter this year, taking the total past 2,200 • Net order value up close to 95% year on year in that same quarter • 109 million Indians transacting more than 10 billion dollars across Blinkit, District and Zomato in the last financial year That capital mainly went into owning inventory, opening dark stores, and making sure the right product is sitting on the shelf when someone opens the app. If ad spend alone decided who wins in quick commerce, this is an unusual place for a company with Blinkit's resources to be putting its money. So the next time a brand debates whether to raise its ad budget or fix its supply chain, it is worth remembering where the market leader itself chose to put its capital. Where would you put your next rupee: ads or inventory?

🚀 Google Ads is getting closer to the point of purchase. Google’s Commerce Media Suite is an interesting update for brands and performance marketers. It allows brands to work with participating retailers/marketplaces and use their product feeds and first-party data to reach high-intent shoppers across Google. Think of it as: Google Ads → Marketplace → Product Purchase → Sales Data → Better Optimisation This could be a big shift for brands selling through platforms like Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy and Myntra, because the focus moves beyond clicks and traffic toward actual retail sales and SKU-level performance. For marketers, the bigger question is no longer just “How many clicks did the campaign generate?” It’s becoming: “How much did our advertising actually contribute to retail sales?” Definitely something worth watching as Commerce Media continues to evolve. 📈 #GoogleAds #CommerceMedia #DigitalMarketing #PerformanceMarketing #RetailMedia #GoogleMarketing #MarketingTrends
