Anthropic just released Claude Sonnet 4.5! It’s already available on Amazon Web Services (AWS) . Through a happy coincidence, I put it to the test last night on a personal challenge: tackling a stock portfolio optimization problem. Mid-conversation, the model upgraded from Sonnet 4.0 to 4.5, and the difference in answer quality is subjectively better. It felt like the conversation itself leveled up. Like it just happens to have sharper reasoning, cleaner explanations and better insights.
