It automatically captures lead information whenever someone messages or chats on the website I built from scratch using Lovable (check out the chat at the bottom-right: https://lnkd.in/gjMrEFea). The workflow classifies leads (hot/warm/cold), stores them in Google Sheets, and sends me instant Slack notifications. A simple way I’ve found to cut through the noise is the OPT lens → Operating Model, Processes, Tasks. 🟦 Operating Model Defines the why of a function - role, mission, success. Example: Support clients after new features are released. 🔄 Processes The how - the repeatable workflows that deliver the mission. Example: Document Upload → Knowledge Extraction → Client Q&A → Fallback Handling → Knowledge Update. ✅ Tasks The what - discrete automations inside those processes, with measurable impact. Examples: - Process document into a knowledge base (% successful uploads) - Answer client questions automatically (% answered without developer help) - Handle unanswered queries (ratio of escalations vs auto-resolved) 💡 Using OPT, I realized a pain point in my domain: 👉 Developers repeatedly answer the same client questions after every feature release. So I built FeatureDoc ChatBot 🎯 1. Upload a feature PDF 2. Clients ask questions 3. Chatbot answers from approved docs (or escalates if not found) ✨ Impact: Clients get instant answers. 📈 Automating ticket streaming to Teams In many teams a common issue is that ticket updates are missed or arrive late. This creates confusion, duplicated messages, and delays in important decisions. 💡 The idea: Create an automated workflow that sends key ticket information (creation, updates, closure, priority, and important comments) directly to Teams in a shared team channel. How it works: Every new or updated ticket triggers an automatic notification. The message includes: ID, title, status, priority, assignee, and a link to the ticket. Frequent updates are grouped to avoid spamming the chat. Critical tickets or those near deadlines are highlighted. Optional: respond from Teams to update the ticket without opening Jira or Snow. A modern approach at enterprise level will be hosting the workload engine in Logic Apps/Functions for lower costs at scale & better control and then adding an AI prompt to the workflow, which automatically extracts key info, summarizes long descriptions, flags urgent tickets, and ensures consistent, actionable messages, essentially a little self-contained pipeline. 🧩 And it solves… The lack of visibility on who is working on what. Duplicated or confusing messages. Key information lost in emails or chat threads. I built an n8n template that turns Confluence pages into an AI-powered chatbot so your team can get precise, contextual answers directly from your docs — no manual searching, no guesswork. How it works (high level): - Receive a chat message. - Search Confluence by page ID and fetch the page using the Confluence REST API (authorized via Atlassian API token). - Pull the page’s storage view (HTML), convert it to Markdown, and supply that content as the context for the AI. - Use a language model (configured to answer only from the provided context and reply “I don't know.” when the answer isn’t present). - Send the chatbot response to users (example flow includes Telegram; you can swap channels). Key nodes you’ll see in the workflow: Search By ID, Confluence Page Storage View (HTTP request), HTML to Markdown, AI Agent (gpt-4o-mini), Window Buffer Memory for conversational context, and an output node (Telegram in this template). Why this matters: - Faster, consistent answers directly from your source of truth. - Keeps knowledge in Confluence (no manual copying or risky data exposure). - Configurable: target specific pages by ID, change body-format, or plug in different chat channels. - Safe fallback: the agent only answers from page content and admits when it doesn’t know.
