When I joined OpenAI, one of the things that excited me most was the possibility of using AI not just to make people more productive, but to help create opportunity. Over the last several months, I've had the privilege of working with an incredible team to take a step toward that vision by launching improved job search features in ChatGPT. This work represents something I've cared deeply about since my early days with Samasource: helping people better understand their skills, discover opportunities, and navigate an increasingly complex labor market. A special thank you to our partners at Indeed (Sol Garger), Upwork (Yashar Behzadi), and Appcast (Matt Molinari) for collaborating with us to build a better experience for job seekers.
A job search is hard enough. ChatGPT can be a sounding board and help with some of the busywork: finding roles, tailoring a résumé, drafting notes, and practicing for interviews. A few (new!) ways to try it out:
