A new acquisition and a very interesting plot twist in my opinion. Databricks is all-in with Agent Bricks + Lakebase (OLTP, Neon), and now with Mooncake as a real-time on top of managed Apache Iceberg. According to my understanding: - Neon: a scalable serverless PostgreSQL database. - Mooncake Labs: tool for analytics on top of Postgres, not the database itself.
