Vice President @ Amazon | Logistics, Operations Management

In times of sudden and inexplicable disaster, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by the scale of loss. But taking action—coming together to support our neighbors—is one of the most powerful ways to begin healing. Last week, Amazon teams from across our network—Community Operations, Amazon Local Good, FCs, AMZL, DSPs, ROC, TOM, and more—came together to do just that. On July 11, 24 pallets of essential goods were delivered to the Kerrville Chamber of Commerce to support those impacted by the recent floods in Texas. That effort was only possible because of the coordination, compassion, and commitment of so many—from site leaders at AUS13 and DSX5 who volunteered on the ground, to the drivers and associates who helped get donations where they were most needed and more. We’re deeply grateful and privileged to live and support the communities we serve—and when challenges arise, we’ll continue to show up with humility and purpose. Living less than an hour from the devastated Central Texas flood zone, I've witnessed firsthand the emotional impact of this disaster on our communities. Thankfully everyone is mobilizing to help, and at Amazon, we approached this challenge the way we serve our customers—by working backwards from the need. We asked: How can we apply our logistics expertise to deliver the right help at the right time? We partnered with the Kerrville Chamber of Commerce to establish a dynamic distribution center that functions like our fulfillment network—enabling relief organizations to access precisely what they need, when they need it. Understanding that needs evolve throughout disaster recovery, we're staying deeply connected with local partners, ready to pivot our approach. By leveraging our logistics capabilities and supply chain expertise, we're demonstrating how we can best support our communities when innovation in delivery truly matters most. #amazon #togetherwithamazon

Proud to see our Amazon teams step up in moments that matter most. This kind of cross-network collaboration from FCs to DSPs is a testament to what we can accomplish when we lead with heart and hustle. Huge respect to everyone who made this possible and helped bring relief to the Kerrville community. #AmazonStrong #CommunityFirst
