Universal design benefits everyone, including the ones creating accessible materials. I never understood faculty resistance to getting properly trained in making sure all their course materials meet UDL standards? Yes, it takes time, but why wouldn’t they want all of their students to have equal access to their course? Even if they don’t care about accessibility (which isn’t acceptable), they should care that UDL decreases questions and complaints about accessing materials.
