Massive move. Infrastructure at this scale isn’t just capacity, it’s direction. Beaver Dam looks like Meta setting the runway for the next wave of real-time AI.
Great site. I was there on Wednesday!
For this new data center, how many gallons of cooling water are required per day, and what is its total daily energy consumption? Providing transparency on these figures is an essential component of Responsible AI practices.
Companies are increasingly investing in data centers. The real competition will center on data center capacity rather than on AI itself: the more data centers an organization controls, the faster and more efficient its search and processing capabilities will become. What is your opinion ?
Can I take a tour? I’d love to visit.
I hope there’s a plan that involves water preservation too.
Why don’t you put the waste heat energy into a district energy loop and provide free heat to the entire city and industries surrounding your facility? Kraft makes some great world famous creme cheese in the area and the manufacturing process could use that waste heat energy. The local pool could use it as well. This could be a massive impact on the local population. Think about it seriously.
Maybe you’ll decide to put some customer service representatives in that large facility! How is it possible to be such a large company without any ability for human customer service interaction? This company will deactivate accounts without warning and any evidence to formalize an appeal. You can always ascertain a company’s intentions when they don’t put any human decision making in their customer support functions.
