India's technology landscape is entering a new phase—one in which innovation, manufacturing and long-term capital are converging to build enduring capabilities. At TVS Capital Funds Connect 2026, we had the privilege of bringing together leaders from industry, policy and entrepreneurship to discuss India's technology infrastructure moment. Naveen Unni our Managing Partner, anchored the conversation around a simple but important question: can India's execution architecture match its technological ambition? KRS Jamwal reminded us that silicon is this century's steel and that building semiconductor leadership requires patience, ecosystems and disciplined industrial execution. Neelkanth Mishra India's ED to the #WorldBank. argued that India now has the capital, policy support and institutional momentum to build deep-tech industries, provided we persist and continue strengthening the innovation ecosystem. Sharad Sanghi of Neysa highlighted that AI compute is becoming critical national infrastructure and that patient capital, enterprise adoption and digital infrastructure will determine India's AI future. Sanjay Nekkanti founder of Dhruva Space demonstrated how India's space ecosystem has already been built, and that the next challenge is scaling manufacturing ambition—from building satellites one at a time to producing them at industrial scale. The evening reinforced an encouraging thought: India's challenge is no longer a shortage of ambition. It is to sustain execution, build institutions and deploy patient capital so that world-class technology companies can emerge from India. #TVSCapitalFunds #TCFConnect2026 #DeepTech #Semiconductors #AI #SpaceTech #Manufacturing #Innovation #India

#India's shot at becoming a leading AI product nation is real, not aspirational. The engineering talent is already here, the manufacturing base is scaling, and #Policy, #Capital and #Technology are starting to point in the same direction at the same time. That's the opportunity I'm carrying to Bengaluru this week. I am attending the 22nd edition of the India Innovation Summit, CII India INNOVERGE 2026, on 22 and 23 July. The theme: Transforming India into an AI-Led Product Nation. Innovation, Trust and Technology. Before the summit opens, I will spend 21 July on the factory floor at #ABB India, for a hands-on learning experience exploring robotics, automation, AI-powered manufacturing, and Industry 4.0 technologies. Twenty years of operating businesses across the GCC and MENA taught me one thing that applies directly to this theme: #Strategy is never the scarce resource. #Execution is. These are the three questions I am taking into every session: 1. Which of these AI capabilities are in production today, not in pilot? 2. Who owns the operating model once the technology works? 3. What has to hold operationally for this to scale from demo to factory floor, from lab to market? Seven sectors over two days: #Mobility; #Biotech; #Aerospace and #Defense; Advanced #Manufacturing; #AI and #DataCenters; the #OrangeEconomy; #Energy and #Sustainability. I will share what holds up against those three questions. #CIIInnoverge2026 #IndiaInnovationSummit #IndustrialAI #AILedProductNation #Execution #AIAdoption #Tesseract Business Solutions L.L.C-FZ #Business challenges are multi-dimensional. Your #Solutions should be too.

India stands at the threshold of a semiconductor revolution, but the real question is — are we building the talent needed to power this ambition? We are proud to share an insightful article by Dr. Umesh Dutta, CEO of Manav Rachna Innovation and Incubation Foundation (MRIIF), published in Express Computer. In his article, “Can India Produce Enough Semiconductor Engineers to Support Its Ambitions?”, Dr. Dutta highlights a crucial national challenge: bridging the talent gap to build a globally competitive semiconductor ecosystem. As India accelerates toward becoming a global semiconductor hub, the focus must extend beyond infrastructure and investments to talent development, research, innovation, and strong industry-academia collaboration. At MRIIF, we believe innovation begins with capability building. Through research, entrepreneurship, and future-focused skilling, we are committed to empowering the next generation of engineers and innovators who will shape India’s technological future. The future of India's semiconductor and display industry is being shaped today through collaboration, innovation, and knowledge sharing. As a student, it's inspiring to see experts from government, academia, and industry come together to discuss the next phase of India's display ecosystem. Looking forward to learning from the Curtain Raiser and gaining insights into emerging technologies and opportunities. Every such event is a reminder that the future belongs to those who keep learning. #IDC2026 #DisplayTechnology #Semiconductors #Engineering #Innovation

Curtain up in six days. 31st July, IIT Kanpur Noida Centre. That's when we officially begin the countdown to #SID India Display Conference 2026 (#IDC2026). I've spent years watching India's display and semiconductor story evolve — from a promising idea to a serious global conversation. This year feels different. ISM 2.0 is here. Display manufacturing is scaling fast. And the world is starting to look at India as a genuine innovation hub, not just a manufacturing base. The Curtain Raiser is where that momentum gets a room. From 12:30 to 5:30 PM, we're bringing together government, industry, academia, and startups for an afternoon built around real substance, not ceremony. A few things on the agenda: Mighty MeitY on #ISM2.0 — a first look at how the next phase of India's semiconductor mission will shape the display ecosystem forward. Tips, Tricks and Traps of applying for a MeitY grant — from someone who's actually walked that road. Precision to Profit — how the process inputs upstream quietly decide the profitability downstream for display industry. Case Study: Safety is Not an Option — because it never was, and never should be. We'll also open the floor to brainstorm the themes and collaborations that will shape the main conference on 18th September at Yashobhoomi. None of this happens in isolation. My thanks to #EdgeTech Scientific for supporting this event, and to #NCFlexE, IIT Kanpur for hosting us. If you're building, investing in, or simply curious about India's display future, this is where the conversation starts. Registration link is in the comments. What would you want India's display roadmap to prioritize next? Eashan Singhal Dr. Sudheer Kumar Dr. Namita Kathpal VEDANT Virani Uday Kumar Pankaj Mohindroo Rajesh Sharma Dr. Aashish Saurikhia
