#India's shot at becoming a leading AI product nation is real, not aspirational. The engineering talent is already here, the manufacturing base is scaling, and #Policy, #Capital and #Technology are starting to point in the same direction at the same time. That's the opportunity I'm carrying to Bengaluru this week. I am attending the 22nd edition of the India Innovation Summit, CII India INNOVERGE 2026, on 22 and 23 July. The theme: Transforming India into an AI-Led Product Nation. Innovation, Trust and Technology. With the approval of 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜𝐨𝐧 𝟐.𝟎, 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐥𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 ₹𝟏,𝟐𝟕,𝟓𝟎𝟎 𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐫𝐞, India has reaffirmed its commitment to building a robust semiconductor ecosystem from design and manufacturing to innovation and talent development. This is more than an investment in chips. It is an investment in the infrastructure of the future. A strong semiconductor ecosystem strengthens supply chains, accelerates advanced manufacturing, powers emerging technologies such as  𝐀𝐈, 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜 𝐦𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐝𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞 opportunities for India's skilled workforce.
