Change is the only constant. With AI and Automation, the world of work is transforming at a pace we’ve never seen before. In the first three years of COVID alone, 9 million workers in the US changed roles—a rate 50% higher than before the pandemic. Many of these shifts were into higher-skilled jobs. Looking ahead, another 12 million occupational shifts will be needed in the US by 2030 to meet the demands of the future workforce. The EU faces a similar challenge—and opportunity. To succeed, we must invest in re-skilling talent at every level of our organizations.
