💡 Microsoft’s New Approach to AI Superintelligence: Putting Humanity First Microsoft AI recently announced the formation of a new team focused on developing what they call "Humanist Superintelligence" — a powerful, advanced AI designed explicitly to serve humanity's interests while keeping humans in full control. Unlike a race to unchecked Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), this approach aims to create AI systems that are carefully calibrated, domain-specific, and subordinate to human needs. Led by Mustafa Suleyman, Microsoft AI's new Superintelligence Team envisions AI that supports people in learning, productivity, healthcare, and scientific breakthroughs like clean energy. Their guiding principle is clear: humans matter more than AI, and the technology must always work for us — not the other way around. This vision highlights a responsible path forward in AI innovation that balances extraordinary capabilities with ethical oversight and human dignity. It's a powerful reminder that the goal of advanced AI should be to enhance human potential and well-being, not replace or outpace it. #AI #Superintelligence #HumanCenteredAI #MicrosoftAI #EthicalAI #Innovation #TechForGood

The next wave of AI won’t be bigger models. It’ll be models that give birth to smaller ones. Here’s a way to think about the future of AI. LLMs are like super-moms, vast intelligent beings that can replicate pieces of their own DNA to give birth to smaller, specialized children. Each child inherits part of the mother’s knowledge, but not all her size or appetite. They don’t need billions of parameters or massive data centers to survive, only the relevant genes for the job. These Small Language Models (SLMs) are faster, cheaper, and more focused. They live on devices, in edge servers, or private enterprise systems, each doing one thing exceptionally well. And the “super-mom” keeps learning. Every generation she becomes smarter and passes on better DNA to her offspring. An ecosystem begins to evolve, a single large and wise parent guiding a network of lightweight, specialized descendants. That’s what AI decentralization might actually look like—not a collapse of big models, but a family tree of intelligence spreading outward.

Politicians and tech billionaires want us to believe AI will solve every problem. But automation has always delivered gains to owners, not workers. AI risks concentrating power, destroying purpose and undermining democracy. This video explains why real productivity comes from education and care, not code, and why a humane future means using AI to support people, not replace them.

The AI arms race just shifted into overdrive. Anthropic didn't just sign a cloud deal—they secured the computational equivalent of a small country's power grid. 1 million TPUs. 1 gigawatt of computing power. $50+ billion in infrastructure. This isn't just about building better AI models. It's about redefining what's possible when you have virtually unlimited computational resources. Here's what this really means: → Claude AI is about to get exponentially more powerful → The barrier to entry for advanced AI just got higher → We're witnessing the formation of AI superpowers While most companies are still figuring out how to use ChatGPT, Anthropic is building the infrastructure to make today's AI look like a calculator. The companies that understand this shift—and position themselves accordingly—will dominate the next decade. The ones that don't? They'll be left wondering what happened. This is your reminder: In the AI revolution, you're either building the future or becoming obsolete. How is your organization preparing for the AI transformation?

AI is an enormous buzzword and global technology to be embraced. It can be easy to get lost in what it means for us all - however a lot of recent readings have lead me to have a better understanding of where the immediate future lies for the tech of AI. Some of the key takeaways for me were some comments from current leaders of the larger tech businesses: #SundarPichai: "The future of AI is not about replacing humans, it's about augmenting human capabilities". #GinniRometty: "AI will not replace humans, but those who use AI will replace those who don't". #ElonMusk: "With artificial intelligence we're summoning the demon". #SatyaNadella: "AI is not only for engineers. It brings changes in the dynamic of business, and we have to adapt or die". #TimCook: "Technology changes what we do, but not who we are. The human touch will always matter". #SarahConnor #AILearnings

🚀 AI: The Modern-Day Computer Revolution Every technological revolution has faced resistance - from machines in the Industrial Age to computers and the internet. Now it’s AI’s turn. The truth? AI isn’t here to replace humans. It’s here to amplify human potential. Just like fuel powers a car, AI powers progress - but it still needs a driver to steer it with intent, creativity, and direction. The future isn’t humans versus AI. It’s humans with AI versus humans without it. In my latest blog on Corvelle, I explore why AI is not a threat but a tool - one that transforms opportunity rather than eliminating it. 👉 Read the full blog here: https://lnkd.in/d-wnKNGt #AI #ArtificialIntelligence #Innovation #FutureOfWork #Corvelle #Technology #DigitalTransformation

When AI Governs Everything The next revolution won’t be about how far AI can think — it’ll be about how deep it can care. When intelligence scales faster than intention, the world needs design that remembers trust. 🌍 Elon said there will come a time — no screens, no apps, no operating systems. Only experiences that know what you need before you speak. But if AI begins to govern everything… then ‘Governance itself must Evolve’. Because the question is no longer how intelligent systems become — it’s how accountable they remain. Trust won’t be a slogan; it will be a system property. And the future won’t just belong to those who build smarter algorithms — it will belong to those who build safer intentions. When machines start predicting our words, humans must start protecting our worth. ⚖️ Conviction is the only capital. #AI #FutureOfWork #AccountableAI #Governance #EthicsInTech #DeepTech #SystemResilience

🧠 #AI is advancing faster than most realize — and #OpenAI is calling for shared responsibility to steer it toward #human benefit. Their latest post, “AI Progress and Recommendations,” outlines both the breathtaking pace of capability gains and the urgent need for global #standards, #resilience, and #accountability as we enter a new era of #intelligent systems. 📌 Key Insights: ⚡ Exponential progress: AI can now perform tasks that once took humans hours — with capability growth accelerating 40x per year. 🔬 Discovery frontier: By 2028, AI systems could autonomously make significant scientific and technical discoveries. 🧩 Shared safety standards: Frontier labs should align on common principles, risk-sharing frameworks, and transparency—akin to building codes for AI. 🛡️ AI resilience ecosystem: Governments and industry must collaborate to create an “AI cybersecurity”-like field to manage risks and ensure trust. 🌍 Empowerment for all: AI should be treated as a foundational utility—accessible, accountable, and designed to enhance human potential. 💡 The takeaway: OpenAI urges collaboration between frontier labs, governments, and the public to ensure AI evolves safely, equitably, and in service of humanity’s collective progress. #AI #Innovation #AIEthics #ResponsibleAI #FutureOfWork #TechPolicy #ArtificialIntelligence 🌍🤖💡 https://lnkd.in/dWzyPjEY
