Amazon has launched Alexa+ in Canada, marking its first international expansion beyond the United States. The next-generation AI assistant enables natural conversations, understanding intent behind everyday expressions—users can say "I'm cold" instead of "turn up the heat."

Built on advanced language models, Alexa+ connects with local Canadian services like CBC and OpenTable while understanding regional culture, from hockey teams to local expressions. It learns personal preferences over time and handles complex tasks like planning shopping lists, managing smart homes, and making restaurant reservations through conversational dialogue.

Alexa+ will be free for Prime members in Canada, or $27.99 CAD monthly. As the first international rollout, this is an exciting milestone for Amazon Alexa.

A Raw Spirit era where we accumulate our own precious experiences as assets We abandon our own convictions and focus on patching together the opinions of others. Without practical experience, we naturally have no choice but to follow the advice of others. Without a clear sense of identity regarding AI, we sing AI songs to disguise it. Since we've been sitting at our fixed desks our thoughts have long since stopped. We had to kick open the door and face the harsh breathing of the world. We haven't physically encountered it and seen it with our own eyes, so we can only organize floating stories. Even if it seems unattractive and childish, we must reveal the traces of our own pain. It's a unique work of art possessed only by us. It's an asset created from the harsh realities of the field, impossible to replicate or imitate. We must stop racking our brains to create stories. We must stop trying to present a story that doesn't even work. We must show our own sincerity as it is, rather than habitually promoting ourselves. It's time to dedicate yourself to creating a living, breathing space for yourself and your surroundings. This small but powerful effort will remain an indestructible asset. The world will remember you forever!
