When providing ad management services, Mediavine and its advertising partners (“Partners”) may collect and process certain information through cookies, pixels, tags, or other tracking technologies placed in your browser, as well as through server-to-server connections. This information is used to deliver interest-based advertising, monitor interaction with advertising content, optimize advertising delivery, measure and improve ad performance, and match audiences using hashed identifiers. Mediavine and its Partners may collect the following types of information, directly or indirectly:

• Advertising Identifier (e.g., Apple IDFA, Google GAID)
• Unique Identifiers (such as cookie IDs, device IDs, or other IDs assigned by Mediavine or its partners)
• Non-Precise Location Data (Country, City, State)
• IP Address
• Operating System (type and version)
• Device Type, Model, Platform and Carrier
• Cookie Data
• Website Language
• Browser Type
• Email Address 
• Usage and Interaction Data (e.g., ads viewed or clicked, website interactions, app usage)
• Non-Precise Geolocation Data (derived from IP or other signals)
• Demographic Information (e.g., age, gender and ethnicity, where provided or inferred)
• Traffic Data and Referral Source Information

How This Data May Be Used

Mediavine helps publishers monetize their sites by delivering ads through our platform. Mediavine and our Partners may use the information listed above to:

• Show targeted ads that match users’ interest
• Make ads work across devices and apps by using data from one device or browser with another device or browser that is linked to it
• Build audience groups and link data across devices or contexts using identity graphs
• Measure and improve ad performance
• Verify ad quality, prevent fraud, and ensure brand safety by analyzing content and traffic context

Some third parties may also use non-cookie technologies (like statistical identification), which may not be affected by cookie-blocking browser settings.

Mediavine may enhance the data we collect with information from data partners to improve targeting and personalization.

Our Partners may combine data with information they have independently collected to:

• Deliver targeted, interest-based advertising or cross-app advertising
• Personalize ads across devices, browsers, and apps
• Create audience segments using unique identifiers
