Last time I checked on FCI (Fédération Cynologique Internationale) there’s no brown Great Dane. So while it could be a mixed breed or one with a recessive gene fault, no licensed breeders breed those. And now, with the movie coming and some people like this article trying to convince people it’s true, it will create a market for puppy mills and backdoor breeders to fill the demand for brown Great Danes. So, if a puppy isn’t cute enough and doesn’t get bought, those places often just let them starve or freeze to death. Thank you for your fantastic contribution to all of this and to all the puppies that will suffer from a new fad. Dogs payed a steep cost after the epidemic when many found a dog life demanding too much.
