RK3588 is Rockchip’s new generation flagship SOC. It adopts 8nm process technology, big.LITTLE design based on A76 + A55, and has 4K UI performance, 8K VPU, NPU2.0, etc. The built-in dedicated NPU is mainly used for AI applications. 1. The RK3588 motherboard adopts an octa-core 64-bit flagship processor, a 4-core Cortex-A76 + 4-core Cortex-A55 architecture, with the A76 core frequency up to 2.4GHz and the A55 core frequency up to 1.8GHz. It integrates ARM Mali-G610 MP4 quad-core GPU 6Tops NPU and a separate NEON coprocessor to provide powerful performance support.
2. It is equipped with Rockchip’s self-developed three-core NPU, which can work collaboratively or independently, so as to flexibly allocate computing power and avoid redundancy. The comprehensive computing power can reach 6TOPS. The introduction of INT4/ INT8/ INT16/ FP16 mixed operations can realize network model conversion based on frameworks such as TensorFlow/ MXNet/ PyTorch/ Caffe, and has strong compatibility to meet the edge computing needs of most terminal devices.
