The Webby Awards accepts eight types of entries:

• Websites & Mobile Sites, honors exceptional websites designed for any screen, including desktop and mobile. Categories include General Desktop & Mobile Sites, Email Newsletters, Features & Design, Mobile Features & Design, and Responsible Technology – new this year – Employment & Career Services, Mobile Innovation & Emerging Tech, and Charitable & Non-Profit (Local & Community Organizations and National & Global Organizations).
• Video & Film, honors outstanding video and film created exclusively for online and streaming, including Branded Entertainment, General Video & Film, Series & Channels, Limited-Series & Specials, and Performance & Craft – new this year – Best Use of Immersive and Documentary: Midform.
• Advertising, Media & PR, honors the diverse landscape of digital advertising, brand creative, mobile and social campaigns, and PR. Categories include Advertising Campaigns, Media Campaigns, PR Campaigns, Branded Content, Individual, and Craft – new this year – Video Ad: Midform and Best Direct Response Campaign.
• Podcasts, honors exceptional work in podcasts, video podcasts, and audio, including Shows, Individual Episodes, Limited-Series & Specials, and Features – new this year – Best New Podcast and Best Video Podcast Host.
• Social & Games, honors creative social media content and gaming experiences across all platforms, including General Social, Social Campaigns, Social Content Series, Social Features, Social Video Short Form, Games General, and Games Excellence – new this year – Best Community Experience, Best AR/VR Immersive Game, Best Overall Social Presence – Organization/Institution, and Best Social Video Series – Shortform & Longform.
• Apps, Software & Immersive, honors innovative apps, software services, platforms, and immersive experiences. Categories include App Excellence, Business Software & Services, Consumer Apps, Immersive Experiences, and Immersive Content – new this year – Developer Tools & APIs and Best Immersive Storytelling.
• Creators, honors outstanding content and creativity by creators and influencers across business, marketing, and digital platforms. Categories include General Creator, Creator Excellence, and – new this year – Creator Business, with new honors including Home & Design, Podcast, Best Livestream, Creator Launch or Drop, and Multi-Creator Campaign.
• AI, The Webby Awards are excited to introduce a brand new suite of honors for AI-powered applications, products, and experiences. Categories include AI Experiences & Applications and AI Features & Innovation – new this year – Best AI Agent, Best Real-Time Engagement, Healthcare & Life Sciences, and AI Technical Achievement.
