We often fall into the habit of saying, “I’m exhausted… I’m drained… I’m overwhelmed.” But somewhere beneath that fatigue lies a powerful reality: ✨ Being tired is a privilege. It means you had something to wake up for. It means your time was needed, your presence mattered, your skills were utilised. It means you’re trusted — by your team, your family, your purpose, your dreams. Some people are tired because they’re building businesses. Some because they’re nurturing families. Some because they’re caring for others or caring for themselves. Different stories — same grace. So if today feels heavy, take a breath… Not to diminish the effort, but to recognise the meaning behind it. You’re not tired because you’re weak. You’re tired because you’re showing up. And that is something to be proud of. 💛 A tired body is evidence of work. A tired mind is evidence of growth. A tired heart is evidence of love. Vikas Kalra shared thisHaving worked across both B2B and B2C industries, I’ve come to truly appreciate what it takes to build a brand that lasts. Too often, we confuse awareness with brand building. Conferences, interviews, podcasts, and digital ads are great for visibility — but visibility alone doesn't build a brand that stands the test of time. A strong brand is built from within. When your sales, marketing, operations, and finance teams are aligned — when your internal processes are consistent and customer-centric — you create a reputation that speaks louder than any campaign. The real goal? Reducing churn. Onboarding new customers is only valuable if they stay and return. Prospects notice the quality of service at every stage of their journey. And if that experience breaks down at any point, your brand equity suffers. Sustainable brands aren’t built on noise. They’re built on trust, alignment, and delivering on what you promise — every time. #BrandBuilding #BrandStrategy #CustomerExperience #CustomerRetention

Vikas Kalra shared thisAs someone who works in the travel industry, I’ve seen firsthand how travelers are moving away from the “do-it-yourself” approach and back toward human expertise - especially for more personalized, complex, and once in a lifetime trips. From finance and law… to travel advising? Would you consider this kind of pivot?Vikas Kalra shared thisA growing number of professionals are leaving the security of jobs in finance, law and other white-collar industries to join the rapidly swelling ranks of travel advisers — a line of work that once seemed destined to disappear as travel planning moved online, reports Bloomberg's Redd Brown: https://lnkd.in/g9VNjt2N Over the past three years, the number of people describing themselves as travel agents or advisers on LinkedIn increased by more than 50%, making it the fifth-fastest growing profession. For now, the demand is there, too. Travel booked through advisers — which includes accommodation, flights and activities — is expected to hit $141.3 billion next year in the US, equal to 26% of the total market, the American Society of Travel Advisors estimates. 💬 Would you consider making this career shift? Vikas Kalra reacted on thisVikas Kalra reacted on thisThe Viral "Swam to Spain" Claim Is Misleading — Here's What Really Happened Social media has been flooded with claims that thousands of Moroccan migrants swam across the sea to reach Spain — but the real story is more complicated than the viral posts suggest. These migrants did not cross the Strait of Gibraltar, and they did not reach the Spanish mainland. What actually happened is that they entered Ceuta — a small Spanish city located on the African coast, right next to Morocco. Most crossed by swimming a short distance around a maritime border fence, or by land. Ceuta is Spanish territory, but geographically it sits in Africa, not Europe. Its history dates back to 1415, when it was first colonized by Portugal. It later became part of Spain and remains Spanish territory today — one of the oldest European-held territories on the African continent. At the other end of the Strait sits Gibraltar, a British territory that Spain ceded to Britain in 1713. Two small enclaves, two different colonial histories, on opposite ends of the same narrow strait. This video breaks down the geography and history behind the viral claim, separating fact from misinformation.

Vikas Kalra reacted on thisVikas Kalra reacted on thisFor centuries, Western powers pushed a false story of racial superiority. They took non-Western inventions, renamed them, and erased the true creators from history. Through fake science and forced colonial schooling, they brainwashed generations to believe non-Western cultures were backward and European rule was a blessing. By controlling who gets credit for human progress, they made dominance look like intelligence. Erasing other cultures was not a mistake. It was propaganda to stay on top. I have listed down some example. Do your own research for more. (Mathematics & Science) 1. Algebra: Formulated by Persian mathematician Al-Khwarizmi in the 9th century (from his book Al-Jabr), which provided the foundation for modern linear and quadratic equations. 2. The Decimal System & Zero: Developed in India by the 5th century (formalized by Brahmagupta and Aryabhata) long before standard Western adoption. 3. Pascal’s Triangle: Detailed by Al-Karaji (Persia, 10th century) and Yang Hui (China, 13th century) centuries before Blaise Pascal. 4. Pythagorean Theorem: Recorded on Babylonian tablets (Plimpton 322, 1800 BC) and Indian Vedic texts (Sulba Sutras, 800 BC) prior to Pythagoras. 5. Sine & Trigonometric Functions: Advanced by Indian astronomers (like Aryabhata) and Islamic scholars before being translated into Latin. (Medicine & Human Biology) 1.,Pulmonary Blood Circulation: Discovered by Syrian physician Ibn al-Nafis in 1242 AD, four centuries before William Harvey. 2. Smallpox Inoculation: Practiced in China, India, and the Ottoman Empire long before Edward Jenner introduced cowpox vaccination in 1796. 3. Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery: Detailed in the Indian text Sushruta Samhita (600 BC) for nose reconstruction (rhinoplasty) and skin grafts. 4. Cataract Removal Surgery: Performed in ancient India by Sushruta using specialized curved needles and couching techniques. 5. Modern Clinical Hospitals: The Bimaristan system in medieval Baghdad and Cairo established specialized wards, medical records, and qualified physicians centuries before modern European hospitals. (Engineering & Technology) 1.,Movable Type Printing: Invented by Bi Sheng in China (ceramic, 1040 AD) and developed in Korea (metal, 1234 AD) well before Gutenberg. 2. The Steam Engine: The Aeolipile, a basic steam-driven turbine, was created by Hero of Alexandria in Roman Egypt in the 1st century AD. 3. Seismograph (Earthquake Detection): Built by Chinese scientist Zhang Heng in 132 AD, using a pendulum mechanism to indicate the direction of earthquake epicenters. 4. The Camera Obscura (Optics): Proven by Arab scientist Ibn al-Haytham (Alhazen) in the 11th century, founding the principles of modern optics and photography. 5. Gunpowder, Fireworks, & Rockets: Developed in Song Dynasty China (9th–11th centuries) long before firearms and explosives reached Europe.

Vikas Kalra liked thisVikas Kalra liked thisSome journeys don’t begin with ambition. They begin with duty. Gulveer Singh never dreamed of standing on an athletics podium. His only goal was to wear the Indian Army uniform and serve the nation. While posted in Arunachal Pradesh, he participated in a 12-kilometre cross-country race organised by his unit. He wasn’t chasing medals or records - just completing another Army event. He finished first. A senior Army officer recognised the potential that Gulveer himself had never imagined. That single moment led him to professional athletics. Years later, the same soldier created history by becoming the first Indian man to win a Commonwealth Games medal in the 10,000 metres. Sometimes, success doesn’t come from following the path you planned. It comes from embracing the one that finds you. Watch the inspiring journey of Gulveer Singh - a reminder that opportunity can appear when you’re simply giving your best. #GulveerSingh #IndianArmy #IndianAthletics #CommonwealthGames #TeamIndia

Photographer Scott was capturing the ocean when he noticed a young surfer repeatedly disappearing behind the waves. He quickly alerted a lifeguard, who immediately sprang into action. The surfer was a 10-year-old boy enjoying the water on his board. As the waves continued to roll in, the lifeguard remained focused and stayed by his side until he safely returned him to shore. What makes this story even more remarkable is that the lifeguard was working his very first season on the beach. His fast response, confidence, and commitment helped bring a positive ending to the day. 👏 A great example of courage, teamwork, and being ready when it matters most. #BeachSafety #LifeguardHero #CaliforniaCoast #ViralStory #ViralNews🌊 An unforgettable rescue at Cypress Beach in California🌊 An unforgettable rescue at Cypress Beach in California

2dVikas Kalra reacted on thisGreek, Norse, and Egyptian myths have inspired countless novels, films, and modern retellings without diminishing their cultural significance. Why is it often seen as acceptable to reinterpret those traditions, but far more controversial to draw on African myths and oral traditions as source material for literature and fiction? Can African mythology be reimagined in the same way, while still respecting its cultural origins? Its about time we break that myth by embracing our African spirituality and be proud of it without the European distortion. #africa #discover #explore #literature #story #ifa #Maat #Sankofa -

Vikas Kalra reacted on thisVikas Kalra reacted on thisWhat started as a leisurely walk in Parque Nacional Los Glaciares, complete with a rare puma sighting of a mama and her cubs, turned into the trek of a lifetime. South America Destination Specialist Annie was in El Chaltén when she and a friend nearly opted out of the iconic Laguna de Los Tres trek. The long travel days were a bit tiring, and the steep climb felt like it would be too much. As they came to the point to turn around, Annie and her friend were so enthralled by the nature of Patagonia that they decided to push for the full climb. The final stretch wasn't easy: unsteady ground, a false summit, and over 1,400 feet of elevation gain in less than a mile. But then, the lagoon came into view. In Annie's words: "the divine views and sense of accomplishment are worth any momentary agony or exhaustion, like 100 million percent. At Vaya, there is a shared belief that pushing yourself out of your comfort zone is part of the real adventure of traveling." If you're ready to take on Laguna de Los Tres, Annie can help you plan the trip. Over the past 6 years, I've had the opportunity to lead marketing initiatives in the insurtech industry, partnering with cross-functional teams to bring innovative solutions to market. That experience has strengthened my passion for solving complex business problems and inspired me to deepen my expertise in strategy, finance, and leadership. It feels especially meaningful to be returning to the university where my journey began, and I'm excited to see where this next chapter takes me. I'm looking forward to connecting with classmates, alumni, and professionals across the consulting and broader business community.

🤫 Most advertisers obsess over CPC… but miss the two metrics quietly deciding it: CPM and CTR. Raise CPM by $20 with a 2% CTR? CPC jumps $1. Drop CTR from 2% to 1%? CPC doubles. That’s the hidden balance shaping your real ad costs - and why “cheap clicks” often mean fragile funnels. 💡 If you’ve ever felt your cost structure “wobble” for no reason, this breaks down the math behind it - and how to read your campaigns like an operator, not a dashboard. 👉 Read full article here: https://lnkd.in/daPDFdQp #Inceptly #Advertising #DirectResponse #YouTube #YouTubeAds #MediaBuying #CPM #CTR

Most media buyers think trust comes from lead volume and low CPL. That's a fast track to being replaced. High-volume lead sources control your scalability. When they sense you're optimizing for vanity metrics over mutual profit, your quality and access erode. The pivot is from buyer to ally. Share downstream data transparently. Don't just report close rates. Report why. Share which segments convert to highest-margin jobs. Provide feedback on lead fatigue and sales timing. We implemented bi-weekly reviews with our top aggregators, showing exactly how their traffic performed to installed revenue. In 90 days, their filtering improved, our connect rates rose 18%, and cost-per-booked-job fell 22%. They became an extension of our team. Trust isn't soft. It's the infrastructure of scale. Build it with data, not promises. For the full case study: https://lnkd.in/gQQfAgWk
