Ring delivery problem
Hello,I ordered a Ring doorbell on the 10th of August, at the time the webpage showed the product was in stock and that the delivery date would be on August 18th- this was confirmed by email. On the 14th of August I received a notification that the order had not been shipped- and the link to my order did not mention a new delivery date. I contacted the Ring chat line and was told that the new delivery date would be September 5th, But, I was also told that the order may not be delivered on that date. The Ring representative explained that 'she did not have any idea" when the product would be delivered. So as a result of this uncertainty I decided to cancel my order, I was initially told that the refund would take 5-7 days. I asked why so long, in the end of the conversation the Ring person told me that my payment would be returned today. It will be interesting to see if Ring do give me my refund today?My suggestion would be to note products that are not in stock and available for delivery - before clients can buy them. It also maybe a good idea when clients orders are delayed that clients should be given clear delivery dates. When refunds are made in these circumstances refunds should not take 5-7 days, money gets transferred faster than this and this is just a way for Ring to get interest on customer funds for a week or so.

This also happened to me, placed my order for a bundle on 8/9. I only received 1/2 my order and in the app it looks like the whole thing shipped. I did receive a notification that they split the package but no communication as to what half shipped or when the second half would ship. I called today (8/19) for help to find out what is going on with the other half and the customer service person said the second part won't ship until 8/29. If I had known it would take more than 3 weeks to be delivered, I would have chosen a different option as I'm away for a long period of time a few days before it will even ship. I understand things happen but if there is transparent communication, customers can make accommodations. Instead I'm left scrambling to find another option at the last minute. Poor communication is the worst from a company.

I am having the same issues. I received an order confirmation on 8/12/2025 and received just the doorbell chime on Sunday 8/17/2025. Now I have no clue, no updates whatsoever on when I will actually receive the actual doorbell. The chime isn't doing me any good by itself. Also Ring has no email service? And their chat is supremely unhelpful.

UThe communication is terrible. I called the support and he told me if I ordered it today it would arrive Sept 9...I said I ordered it August 9th, not today.

UAlso, there are no details on the account page... it just says shipped for the one piece, no estimate on shipping time for the other half.
