Jun Hu is a Full Professor at the School of Computer Science and Information Engineering, Hefei University of Technology. Before joining Hefei University of Technology in 2026, he was a Senior Research Fellow at the National University of Singapore (NUS). His research has long focused on large-scale and efficient graph learning and social multimedia computing. His work has been published in leading international conferences and journals, including ICML, AAAI, ACL, ACM MM, SIGIR, TKDE, and TMM. He maintains close industry collaborations with ByteDance, Grab, and Tencent, which have led to multiple joint publications; some research outcomes have also been applied in real-world business scenarios at ByteDance.

Research interests: social multimedia, large language models for graphs, graph foundation models (GFMs), large-scale graph neural networks (GNNs), multimodal agents.
