Units of the National Guard of Ukraine already operate Quantum Systems technology in combat. Last week, its Commander, Major General Oleksandr Pivnenko, visited our headquarters to see where these systems are built - and what comes next. The delegation saw our production capacity, systems already proven in combat and new capabilities currently in development. Frontline experience keeps innovation focused on operational reality. This direct exchange strengthens our cooperation and feeds critical lessons back into our engineering. Thank you to Major General Pivnenko and his delegation for the visit, the trust and the open exchange. Glory to Ukraine. We are proud to be by your side.

The Future is Unmanned.
Info
Quantum Systems is a leading European deep-tech company specialising in unmanned systems. We develop, produce, and scale integrated hardware, software, and AI solutions that are operational across air, ground, and sea today. Headquartered near Munich and operating globally, we build all core technologies in-house: platforms, mission software, and AI-driven analytics. This stands for technological excellence, scalability, and European sovereignty. Armed forces, security agencies, and critical infrastructure operators rely on our systems when situational awareness and speed of decision-making define the outcome. What we build is already in the field. What we're building next will redefine the category. We're looking for people who want their work deployed, not presented. Who believe sovereignty is something you engineer, not something you declare.

The sea does not have one operating environment. It has several stacked on top of each other. Air above it. A surface stretching beyond the horizon. A seabed kilometres below. REPMUS brought all of them together. This year, we brought our new maritime capabilities, Seavex and Subvex, to Portugal to test and validate them at sea. The air remained part of the same picture. RAT, our aerial target designed to replicate modern one-way attack UAV threats for air-defence and counter-UAS training, successfully demonstrated a ship-based launch. Reliant operated in the long-range reconnaissance role, while Vector demonstrated autonomous ship-based operations with automated take-off and landing. Around us, 36 navies, 14 ships and some 300 unmanned maritime systems were testing alongside us what autonomous operations at sea can look like. Successful maritime operations are about connecting air, surface and subsurface, as well as manned and unmanned systems, into one operational picture.

Strengthening German-Ukrainian Counter-UAS Cooperation Last week, we had the honour of welcoming H.E. Boris Ruge, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Ukraine, to our Quantum WIY Industries (QWI) facility. Our discussion focused on accelerating the delivery of field-driven counter-UAS capabilities to protect Ukraine’s sky against a wide range of aerial threats. Recent field deployments of our QWI systems have produced encouraging results, validating our approach under real operational conditions. By translating direct feedback into rapid testing and refinement, we continuously adapt our solutions to meet evolving threats. We thank Ambassador Ruge for the valuable exchange and the shared commitment to strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities and industrial capacity. Protecting the sky demands urgency, adaptability, and scale. QWI delivers all three.

No single sensor works everywhere at sea. Optics and radar stop at the waterline, radio dies metres below it, and sound carries for miles without revealing its origin. So we split the work. Subvex listens with sonar and hydrophones to 6,000 m, sharing tracks over acoustic modems. Seavex watches the surface for 60 days and collects Subvex data at sea. Twister covers the air. MOSAIC UXS puts all three on one map. A noise below becomes a track a commander can act on.

Going to sea was the decision. Connecting it to air and land was the work. Last night at Sesimbra, on the sidelines of an international naval exercise, Quantum Systems introduced Seavex and Subvex. Both run on MOSAIC UXS, the same architecture already flying and driving. "The real step forward is not adding another domain. It is connecting them." — Florian Seibel, Co-CEO and Founder Air, land, surface, seabed. One operational picture.

At Quantum WIY Industries, we have automated every main stage of an interception up to the final decision: receiving coordinates, sector guidance, AI target recognition and thermal guidance. The pilot confirms and initiates. Each stage was automated only after proving itself in the field in Ukraine. Now we are scaling these capabilities and integrating WIY DRONES interceptors into MOSAIC UXS, connecting them with radars, other interceptors, and command centres. Full integration is targeted for early next year.

Two thirds of the planet has never appeared in our mission logs. That changes on 14 September. We built our authority in the air, combat mission by combat mission, then extended it to the ground. One operational picture, one network. The sea was always the missing domain: distances measured in days, a medium that swallows radio signals metres below the surface, missions running above and below that surface at once. Air. Land. And from 14 September, the sea.

Threats do not stop at the waterline. Shipping keeps supply chains moving, offshore assets keep energy flowing and subsea cables carry the data underneath both. Europe treated all three as background infrastructure for decades. Recent incidents corrected that, and exposed two gaps at once: nobody can watch a domain this size continuously, and almost nobody can prove what happened once it has been hit. There are simply not enough frigates, submarines or patrol aircraft to secure this vast, open and increasingly vulnerable domain. So we are taking our capabilities to sea. The new chapter begins 14 September 2026. The future is unmanned. It now runs across air, land and sea.

For decades, reach came with an address. Runways, launchers, a base to fly home to. Depth was something you bought with infrastructure. Reliant is our long-range VTOL UAS. It lifts off vertically, crosses 160 km into contested airspace with or without GNSS, holds there past hour ten, and comes home to the same patch of ground it left. Reach like that used to start with an airfield. Reliant starts with a clearing.

Cummings Research Park is the second largest research park in the United States. We just moved in next door. Quantum Systems Inc. opened a 3,200 sq ft R&D office in Upland Park, Huntsville, running today. What moved is the engineering itself: aerodynamics, flight controls, computer vision, autonomy, cloud infrastructur, simulation, manufacturing engineering. The stack behind systems flying U.S. and allied missions now sits where direct collaboration, unfiltered operational feedback, and faster development from requirement to field are a matter of geography. "Establishing a presence here allows us to work more closely with our customers, expand our engineering bench, and accelerate the development of next-generation unmanned systems." - Dave Sharpin, CEO, Quantum Systems Inc. ↳ Full press release in the comments.
