The myDelska self-service platform was designed to support operations of any scale. It is suitable for anyone – startups, SMBs, enterprises, and even individual developers or personal use customers.
The platform is automated, letting users configure and deploy resources independently. This eliminates wait time, letting users deploy new instances and scale resources instantly, anytime. Though if you require assistance and need admin help, you can request this service additionally via myDelska support section.
myDelska offers predictable, transparent pricing that depends on the service, operating system, chosen server hardware, and a fixed price if additional internet speed is needed (base speed of 100 Mbps is included, with unmetered traffic). The key aspect is that inbound and outbound traffic are not metered; hence, your cloud costs are truly predictable.
An hourly billing model (Pay-As-You-Go) is used, meaning the bill is calculated based on the actual time the service is used. The total amount depends on the number of days in the month and the hours when the service is used, up to the maximum limit of a given month.
Read more about billing here.
The platform has made the provisioning process as simple as possible, and setting up the configuration can take as little as a couple of minutes. VM deployment is instant, making the overall process very quick. There is no waiting time for VMs to actually deploy as you might encounter on other cloud platforms.
myDelska also offers an API feature for fully automated VM deployment, so you can integrate with your service and deploy several VMs at once.
myDelska is a KVM-based cloud platform and offers Regular and High-Performance virtual machines.
Regular VMs have emulated CPU (KVM64) and are ideal for users looking for cost-efficient solutions. They are suitable for most workloads, such as web hosting, mail servers, development/test environments, and business applications.
High-Performance VMs use CPU passthrough, offering near-native performance with low latency, and are suggested for users working with high workloads, such as game/media servers, video rendering, simulations, and high-load databases.
The platform offers Windows and a wide range of Linux operating systems for virtual machines.
If chosen, Windows will not be activated, and to activate it, the customer will have to provide a valid license key. Read more about the licensing here.
Yes, it is possible to upgrade CPU, RAM, and storage for an already deployed virtual machine. During the upgrade, the instance will be temporarily stopped and will turn on back automatically, so it is advised to plan upgrades accordingly to avoid service outages during peak traffic times.
With all user data hosted in European data centers in Latvia, Lithuania, and Germany, and European-only owners, myDelska can guarantee fully European data ownership. The platform is fully compliant with European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) standards.
All future expansion plans for new Delska data centers are also kept within the EU, ensuring that data storage, processing, and management will remain strictly under the jurisdiction of the European Union.
Data is protected using enterprise-grade physical, technical, and organizational security measures, including an ISO 27001:2022-compliant EU data center, biometric access controls, 24/7 monitoring & physical security, encrypted infrastructure, redundancy, and audit logging. Access to customer data is strictly limited to authorized, trained personnel only when necessary to provide the service. Read more here.
The platform is fully GDPR-compliant, processes data only on customer instructions under a Data Processing Agreement (DPA), keeps all personal data within the EU/EEA, supports data subject rights, and follows defined data retention, deletion, and security incident notification procedures.
myDelska platform offers a choice between a shared firewall with predefined controls or an individual firewall with more customization options and enhanced security.
For backups, myDelska offers advanced features of one-time backups as well as scheduled backups, giving the user the option to back up their data regularly, at a frequency of their choice. An unlimited number of backups can be stored for your VM; however, there is an hourly charge for each GB of backup. If you delete the VM, all your data and backups will be lost, so please ensure that you save your data beforehand.
Monitoring can be set up for the following parameters: CPU load, RAM usage, Main DISK usage, Extra DISK usage, Network outbound Gbps, Network inbound Gbps, Network outbound kpps, and Network inbound kpps. Alerts can be received via e-mail, SMS, Slack, or notifications to all workspace members. More about monitoring here.
All myDelska virtual machines are located within the European Union, in data centers located in Latvia, Lithuania, and Germany. The user can choose the VM location during the configuration process of the instance.
myDelska also provides real human support that’s available 24/7 to make sure our customers aren’t stuck in never-ending ticketing loops. If you need assistance, just drop us a message via platform Support section.
